Chapter 1: Introduction
The project aims to identify the significance of training and development in
implementing advanced technologies at workplace. Training and development are important
components within an organization as they help the employees to develop new skills and
enhance their existing knowledge (Al Karim, 2019). The main aim of an organization behind
conducting training and development is to ensure that the employees are able to perform
effectively and that their overall productivity is also improved. Organizations provide training
not only to the new employees, but also to their existing employees to attain goals and
objectives. The respective report is based on Rafayel Hotel & Spa and aims to identify the
importance of training as well as development in implementing advanced technologies. The hotel
is of four floors and offers different types of rooms as per the preferences of the customers. In
order to complete this research, the researcher has used deductive approach and primary data
collection method such as a questionnaire has been used. The rationale behind undertaking this
study is to enhance the existing knowledge of the readers regarding the importance of training
and development in the company. Also, the company will be able to develop better training
strategies for its employees.

The approach which has been used in the project is deductive approach. As of the
research tool, a questionnaire has been used to collect the data for data analysis. The researcher
has ensured that a proper structure has been followed for the research (Bell and et.al., 2017). The
report is divided into six chapters wherein the first chapter will include an introduction about the
research topic and will explain the research aim as well as objectives. The next chapter,
Literature Review will provide a discussion about the research questions. The chapters further to
this will provide an explanation about the methods that have been used in the research and an
analysis of the same. Lastly, the findings of the study as well as a conclusion will also be
included in the study.
Chapter 2: Literature Review
A literature review section in the research, evaluates surveys books, scholarly articles,
and any other assets applicable to a selected difficulty, area of research, or concept, and with the
aid of so doing, gives a description, precis, and crucial evaluation of these works when it comes

From the above report, it can be concluded that training and development are important
component for the overall success of an organization. There are two types of training that can be
provided to the employees within the organization such as on the job as well as off the job
training. Also, there are different strategies of training that can be implemented such as providing
coaching and mentoring to the employees. There are different benefits of training and
development that can contribute to the overall success of the company. It helps in increasing the
overall productivity of the employees and increases their overall level of satisfaction for their
jobs. Also, there are different theories of training that can be implemented at the workplace, such
as the needs theory, social theory etc. It can also be concluded that training and development
play an important role and contribute to the overall success of the company. Lastly, it can also be
concluded that there can be certain challenges that the company can come across while
implementing advanced technology. For example, the employees might show resistance and
there can also be a lack of engagement among employees. Therefore, organizations should
implement latest technology at their workplace and at the same time, they should also provide
effective training to the employees.
