Introduction
This unit of professional practice includes the aim of giving the training to the students for
demonstrating the skills of leadership in them. It also includes the range of transferable and
interpersonal communication skills to the target audience. For resolving the problems and issues
the critical thinking and reasoning have been taken place very effectively. The dynamics and
importance of working with a group or a team, with the impacts of the group working in various
environments have also been discussed in this unit. This study of professional practices helps in
understanding the different ways and importance of time management skills. The various
communication styles and formats have been explained in this unit in most appropriate manner.
Some of the most important motivational theories and their impact on the performance has also
included in this unit very well. The development plan helps in understanding the outline
responsibilities and performance objectives for running the business successfully.

shares. In order to make people more knowledgeable about specific products, services and their
responsibilities regarding their job, training gets provided to them. There are various
communication formats and styles which can get used for designing a training event in an
effective manner. Some of those are well discussed below-
Verbal and non-verbal Communication style- In the training session, non-verbal
communication type includes the facial expressions, body language, gestures, posture, eye
contacts and etc. At the other hand sound of the voice in which tone, pitch, and volume get
included in, is known as verbal communication. According to Joseph, et. al., (2018), patting the
back shaking hands, pushing, hugging and etc. all these kind of communication is known as non-
verbal communication. In the training session, verbal communication helps in clarifying all the
misunderstanding of the customers and providing best knowledge about products and services to
the employees gets include in, which can get delivered to the customers. In order to understand
the emotions or communicating interpersonal relationships, non-verbal communication helps in
such a great manner (Joseph, et. al., 2018).
Use of IT to enhance communication- In order to make training session effective it is important
to include the technology. As because technology helps in presenting the different
communication ways such as visual communication, e-mails, uses of phone or internet and etc.
Providing training about all these resources helps in expanding the business in most efficient
manner. It also helps in knowing about the customer's mindset by following them on social sites.
The updated technologies help in speeding up the information and communication flow among

For running the business in a successful manner, it is very important to use the effective time
management skills in an event or planning. Some of the most important skills are described
below-
Prioritising the workloads- According to Vourlekis, (2017), for completing all the tasks and
targets of the business it is very important to manage the work according to the priority basis.
The task which is importantly required to get done in given time frame should get completed
first. It will help in reducing the workload by managing the work in a timely manner. As same it
also reduces the conflict in between of employees as no one feels any pressure of work on them.
Setting the objectives-For running the business successfully, it is important to set the objectives
and goals of the business so that employees can understand the needs and requirements of the
business. It reduces the wastage of time and presents some fruitful decision (Vourlekis, 2017).
Making and keeping the appointment- According to Mukhopadhyay, (2017), this procedure
helps in managing and maintaining the time in the perfect manner. Keeping the appointment
records helps in reducing the chances of missing the meetings. It also reduces the wastage of
time as because it also gets set that at what time which works needs to be executed or completed.
Planning and scheduling tasks and activities- Schedule and plan the activities before starting
them helps in achieving the objectives of those tasks and activities in an efficient manner. This

solving techniques are stated below –
Analysis of problem- According to Trenholm, (2017), it is the most important and useful
techniques for getting rid of any kind of problem. Analysis of problem helps is the procedure of
finding out the main issue, which is affecting that related work or performance in any which
ways. It includes the way to find out the actual problems which are taking the business into the
situation of loss or hampering the business in a negative manner. Without analyzing the problem
it gets very harder to get rid of them (Trenholm, 2017).
