INTRODUCTION
Event designing refers to the process of creating a detailed format regarding activities
that will be taken place in an event (Cunliffe and Easterby-Smith, 2017). It consists of planning,
budgeting, setting timeline, selecting place for an event etc.
Report will include reflection on designing, planning and hosting training event and
making improvement in event again in the future. It also includes role performed while
organizing this event and discussion regarding working of team member in a group.
Furthermore, it emphasized on skills that is being acquired from this project.
MAIN BODY
An event refers to program that is conducted with proper planning and designed in a
systematic manner. For conducting a training event, our team which consist of 10 person
organized a proper process that taken place while organizing this training event. Therefore, at
initial stage, I identified training needs that what is the target audience for our training so all the
arrangements have been done accordingly. As we are working in a team, therefore, we assign
duties as per our abilities. Such that I make proper arrangement therefore, we 2 chooses this area,
while other chooses different. For providing effective training to needed people I realized that
proper equipment are required. So, I arranged premises that is basic requirement for set up
proper training events for needed people. Then, we arrange banner that define training objectives
so that it will helps to creates awareness among others. Further, training is designed keeping in
mind needs of employees and proper interactive session will be organized that also emphasize on
question and answer as both employees and trainer involved in training session (Dowson and
Bassett, 2015).
As per my opinion it is necessary to hire the best trainer for employees so that they will
get benefit. Thus, one of my teammate select an experience trainer so that it will help to get best
results out of it. In the same time, one of the member provide notes that helps to gain easy
understanding that will be taught during training session. We all set training schedule in which 6
week training is set out with specific elements. I make sure that proper arrangements for an
employees is done which includes accommodation facilities, refreshments etc. so that they may
not get any difficulty. During a session, training break was provided so that they get relaxed and
again generate interest in the next session. I also analysed that it is essential to bring an
interactive session that help trainer to enhance knowledge which will help in their future (Flick,

helps to analyse the whether the training session is effective or not. I also provided different
perspective that help in conducting effective training session. Therefore, I provide the best
facilities to employees that are coming and attending an event. All facilities were provided that
help in attending training effectively and efficiently. Different resources are utilized while
organized training event that facilitate in achieving objective of it.
In future, if I get an opportunity to perform this training event again, then I will be
organizing this in more better manner as I had organized earlier. This time I provide additional
facilities to employees that help in gaining better understanding of concepts and techniques that
will used in conducting training session. Such that, In between training session I introduce fun
activities so that trainee will not feel bored and it generate enthusiasm among them. If these
activities was organized then employee may leave from training as find it boring and cannot
retain for longer time. I also think that promotional tools also help to attract large audience and
that is why, I will use attractive banner that draw attention of more trainee to participate in the
event. On the other side, I critically analyse that space also matters such that earlier the premise
is small and that is why, in future I provide good and large area that help in motivating them to
indulge in session. It will be beneficial for trainee if notes and manuals are provided by trainer as
it help in building clear understanding of session that is going to be conducted in that event.

various aspect of the event. As a member of team I played significant role to complete the entire
training event in a successful way. It is also important that the event will be completed on time
so that it provide different perspective in getting involved into it. Therefore, I utilized specific

a group are cooperative and help each other in completing their work. It is also important that
involvement of group members help in achieving success.
While developing an event, I have improved my communication skill such that working
in a team helps to enhance interpersonal skills and in the same way, I also enhance this skills.
Earlier, I did not have effective communication skills, but when I perform work with team and
organize a training event I realize that now I easily present my views in front of other. My
problem solving skill is also improved as while doing work in group I am able to solve problem
as if any problem occurred then I bring solution to that problem. I am able to think creative as
while judging different perspective of a particular problem that emphasize on different problems
in the future. It is important for acquiring skills while learning different aspect of module.
