INTRODUCTION
This case study will investigate about the learning & development problem experienced by
school lunchtime supervisors. It will be consider the possible causes and implications of problem
that will identified. This documentation will examine the relationship between HRM or HRD
implemented in case study on the basis of performance of school lunchtime supervisors.
Moreover, it will describe about the innovative recommendations to address issues or problem,
including how it would monitor the implementation.

Discuss about the learning and development problem in context of covid-19.
It is one of the greatest threats in our lifetime to global education. As March 2020, the
covidd-19 is usually causing more than 1.6 billion of children, youth to be out of education or
school in 161 different countries. Sometimes, this is close to 80% of entire world enrolled
children. Nowadays, it has been already experiencing a global crisis, which may increase a lot of
problem for student in regards of learning and development within schools. Therefore, children’s
are not learning actual fundamental skills needed for life (Brotman, 2020). On the basis of
research, it has been examined that age of 10 children who cannot read and understand before the
outbreak started. Due to Covid-19, it has been become potential to worsen these result or
outcome even more if it do not act as fast.
In context of learning and development, it may start the school year late and also
interrupting it completely because it is directly disrupts the lives of many children, teachers as
well as parents. For a number of very remote students in Australia, which may prefer to focus on
the distance education in regarded as the most effective means of providing the better education
of student. In this way, Lunchtime supervisor may be experienced a problem because they were
not maintain a proper relation to distance from physical school. In this mode of schooling,
supervisor send the student schoolwork to complete their work at home. This kind of role is
basically undertaken by parents, with this is one of the toughest things. Despite, this is essential
aspect of their role, practices of supervisors and challenges this role bring them.

The supervisor will be creating a routine so that their children could work properly and
then provide the guidance of their students. In lunch time, supervisor may be tried to adjust the
school hours, with set specific time for school during covid-19. But supervisor will be facing a
certain kind of challenges in regards of learning and development (Calamlam and Mokshein,
2020). it is difficult to organise or create a separate schoolroom, lunch break space. It is quite
challenging to maintain a proper social distancing between every children’s. At the time, lunch-
time supervisor will be experienced the problem in learning and development. Furthermore,
Supervisors will start to engage with every children and assists them to follow a certain rules and
regulation in the school premises.
In particular, it is an essential for establishing a relationship with distance education
teacher, other students. From exploring the challenges encountered or experienced by supervisor.
Main issue of supervisors was feeling uncertainty at the time lunch break in regards of social
distancing. It is not sure about the expectation of them in their role and felt that they lacked
knowledge and experience to undertake the role.
Explain the value of effective training development programme for employees.
The effective training and development program can help employee to perform a better as
they become more skilled in their jobs. It is able to complete their work quickly manner.
Training program provide the great opportunity for supervisor and other teacher who are able to
improve their skill and expand their knowledge base. Sometimes, it is increasing their efficiency
and productivity at workplace (Napano, Gayagay and Tuazon, 2021). During Covid-19, Human
resource management of educational institution is focused on the better safety measurement so
that they can provide training session for teacher, supervisor so that they can easily handle any
kind of situation or condition at the time of pandemic. Here, are a few way to examine the
effectiveness of training development program for employees.
Improve on weakness- usually, employees may find the specific areas in their job that
they will try to improve. Training program will help for employee to address own weakness and
then applied capability in work at getting better at them. As the knowledge, it will be increases,

and also remove any weak links in the educational system. For Example- teacher, supervisor can
use their own knowledge from training to handle multiple task in covid-19. It became less
dependent on other to design a proper learning schedule of student’s in lunch time and so on.

of employee where they can learn something new and supervisor adopt the new policies or

Therefore, supervisor will understand the problem and finding causes, trying to eliminate
within education institution. It might use a proper system for discipline such as handling out. On
the basis of experience, Supervisor know about the problem at the end of lunch-time. It is clear
that covid-19 pandemic has been disrupted on the entire educational system that many assets was
losing its own relevance.
Explain how the proposal design could improve the performance of school lunchtime
supervisors.
Human resource management can be optimised the use of essential resources in order to
improve the performance of school lunch-time supervisors. It has been already identified that

children’s to provide the better guidance. Therefore, this will help to lunchtime supervisor, where
they could improve own understanding and enhance their performance or efficiency.

need or requirement. This type of strategy can be utilised by school lunchtime supervisor and
then improving their coordination with school board. In order to participate into important
decision of lunch-time break during covid-19. Therefore, it is becoming a great opportunity for
lunchtime supervisor to improve their ability and performance so that they can easily take
