Chapter 4: Question 1
There are some of the differences lies in the organization planning in earlier period and
the current period is given as below:
First point of difference is business strategy followed by people 25 years ago and
currently by managers in an entity in creating organizational plan. In the earlier time period, the
managers used traditional practices which were reactive strategies due to lack of technology
available that time (Kretch & Adolph, 2017). But in the current period, the strategies prepare by
an entity will by considering future trends before its launching. As in this way, the effect of the
competitor will get minimizes. This, in turn, increases the success rate of a business to achieve
all its targets in a stipulated time period.
The technology is another basis of difference in comparing the organization plan of past
and present period. Due to restrictive limits in the 19th century, the people had limited resources
and technology in crafting an organization plan which increased the loopholes in a strategy. The
weakness of an entity had taken advantage by all its rivals by utilizing ample of technological
resources (Akter, Wamba, Gunasekaran, Dubey& Childe, 2016). This problem will get resolved
in the current period where an enterprise has a lot of resources to explore and use the same in
increasing an entity’s strength.
The planning plays an important role in today’s environment where changes are part of
an organization’s life where crises are considered as a normal activity. By using technology, the
effectiveness and the efficiency of an organization planning will get increases when external
market changes incurred (Olson, Slater Hult& Olson, 2018).

Changing an organization’s domain is considered as a feasible strategy in eliminating
variations takes places in the external environment. Every entity wants to stick to its primary
domain or field of the organization but to shift the competition of the market, the firm chooses
another market segment in safeguarding its position in the market (Skinner, 2016).
Different theories justifies the above mention statement that changing the business
domain is suitable or not by considering the current market scenario. The above statement is
proved by considering a simple or complex environment. Changing business domain by an entity
that lies in a simple environment is not feasible for them to cope with the changes takes places in
the environment as in this way the survival of an entity is not possible. The burden of the
external environment will be imposed on an entity. On another hand, an enterprise operate its
business under the complex environment can change its domain as this will be beneficial for an
entity to cope up with the external market change.
A Real example proves that changing domain of business will provide successful
business opportunities for an entity in the future. Apple is one of an instance that also changes its
business domain for a while to shift the reaction of its competitors. In the current period, Apple
maintains its position on a top grade whose i-phones are in demand as everyone waits for a new
product launch by this company as the company creates its image and loyalty among all its users.
This action of an entity helps in reducing the entire competition in the market and the business
will get new business experience.
Chapter 6: Question 1
The scope of the transnational model has introduced by Richard Daft that explains the
importance of this model that this will help an entity in achieving its aim and the targets in a
stipulated time period (Carayannis, Sindakis & Walter, 2015). Under this model, an entity will

get to know about the knowledge of transforming the status of the business as per the global
standards in creating a global image of the business. In doing this, the image of the business will
get increases which helps an entity in attracting a lot of investors to invest in the company
(Shams, 2017). The government will also support an entity that is following global standards and
regulations which helps in meeting all its goals and aims.
A transnational entity will get access to advanced resources, technology, financial
resources to upgrade its business according to the international standards. An entity will get to
learn all the latest business practices to achieve all the aims and the objectives within a given
span of time (Kuhn, 2015).
A transnational model will help an entity in getting enough pool of raw materials and the
technology in meeting overall needs of a large global firm. The services offer by an entity will
expand by using this particular model in nurturing the capabilities of a business concern.
Biblical perspective
The Bible guides an individual in living its own life with noble principles in making
difference in its personal and professional life. As per bible verse Psalm 32:7-8, “You are my
hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance”. This
bible verse says that an individual should have faith and trust in god as all the adversities will get
overcome by god as Jesus will protect an individual from all the troubles.
Another bible verse Exodus 33: 14, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest”.
This bible verse shows that follows the path and teachings of god as this says that act on the
teachings of god and god will manage all its troubles and struggles. This thing will also work out
in terms of the business where changes takes places in the environment is consider in an entity
by following the practices and principles of Jesus to achieve all the rational objectives.

The worldview of biblical perspective is consider as an initiative or a framework that
allows a Christian individual in awaking people about its culture by sharing ideas and beliefs
with other people. Sharing Bible verse with people and interpreting its meanings will allow other
community members to utilize the teachings of Jesus in its daily routine.
