INTRODUCTION
 Client is facing problem due to the transportation service due which client has been
messing her appointments.
 A client has been complaining about the poor service from BTC due she has to wait for
hours and she complained that even BTC forgot her last week.
 She is blaming transportation service for the challenges she is facing due she kept on
missing her appointments.

 As our client has faced problems due to the poor transportation service which resulted
in missing of appointments at the agency.
 Client is facing both financial and health problems and also she is suffering from
physical disabilities for which she needs a medical attention but to poor transportation
she is not able to come to agency and get a proper treatment due poor transportation
service from BTC.
 She has been able to come only 3 times within 2 months which has effected her remedy
procedures for the agency.

 The social and cultural factors that must be considered is that as client is suffering from
mental health needs and physical disabilities and is also needed of financial resources
so it the duty of every person to take care of her, she should be helped at every aspect
of her life when ever she needs any help.
 A person should have ethics how to help needy person and should try to solve their
problems despite of her disabilities and drivers should not ignore her and should try to
keep patience.

 An effective mode of transportation is really important for disabled persons, there are
various transportation services which are available in our community for persons
suffering from disabilities which can be describes as below:
 Over-the-Road buses- It is the type of bus with an elevated passenger deck which is
located over the baggage compartment. These buses have typical routes and operates by
picking up the individuals on the road rather than terminals. These buses do not deny
transportation to disabled passengers.

 Paratransit Service- it is the mode of flexible transportation but it does not follow a
fixed routes and offers a door to door service for the people suffering form disabilities.
 There are no such limitations such as providing a minimum notice
requirements for which a transportation can only be used for medical requirements.

 Social and cultural factors have a direct impact on the use of transportation service especially
with the cases related to disabled persons.
 The factors include ethics, education, values, beliefs, religion etc which have an impact on the
transportation services.
 Yes, dispatch should be aware if client is using a wheelchair or any other support so that
appropriate vehicle should be sent for pick up a disabled person.
 A transportation company can get engaged with non-English speakers by using a guide, by
slowing down a speech using proper body languages or can communicate effective with ESL
speakers.

 State funding policies have an effect on the use of transportation services, this
transportation service are governed by the local government of state.
 More than 24 states has raised funds for transportation since 2012 which has improved
the transportation services in US.
 Transportation funding policies allows the people with disabilities to live independently
within their communities.

 As per the ADA ( Americans with Disabilities Act) provides the accessibility in public
transportation by intercity and commuter rail and also for the public transportation
other than aircraft and certain rail operations.
 Despite of the federal laws, transportation service is not often accessible to the people
with disabilities as many policies are not implemented and adequate funding is not
provided

 Transportation services plays an important role in the treatment of clients, if the
transportation service is poor a client can reach to the agency on a scheduled time or
date which can hamper the treatment procedure of client.
 A client may usually miss their appointments which results in delay of treatment and
may have bad consequences on the health of a client.
 If transportation is service is really good a client can reach to the agency on and also
may not miss its appointments which results in the effective services from agency and
also makes treatment process very easy for the client.

 A good transportation service can increase the number of clients for the agency and can
improve the service provided by agency which can be satisfaction to both client and
agency.
 Poor transportation service can affect agency's ability to treat clients, due to poor
transportation service a client can not reach to agency on time which may result in the
delay of service or rescheduling of appointments which can create problems for both
clients and agency too.
 So, its is important to have a good transportation service in a community.
