INTRODUCTION
The big data is the one which includes the data which is large in numbers and velocity.
For any company it is very crucial that they undertake and evaluate the data in order to take the
informed decision of the business. the reason underlying this fact is that for every business it is
essential that they evaluate the data and then take decision. The present study is based on the
company Travel Corporation which is a company dealing in tourism industry. Here the big data
initiative plan will be created by company in order to improve business operations. The current
study will outline the different type of data types and sources helpful in attaining business
initiative. Along with this, key challenges will be highlighted with discussion on various data
analysis approaches. In the end the various technology and Big data business model maturity will
be highlighted.

In part 1 it was discussed that big data is very assistive to company in acquiring
information which is useful to the business in order to improve and develop business. the reason
underlying this fact is that when big data is used then this will provide a base to the company in
taking the decision and developing the business. the present case was based on company Travel
Corporation which is a company in tourism industry (Xu and Hua, 2017). The company is based
in Australia and the main aim of company is to share culture of Australia all over the globe. The
main objective of company is to develop an online platform by taking help of social media and
SEO. So the big data initiative of Travel Corporation is the use of social media in order to
improve the number of consumer and service being provided to them. For this purpose, the
company developed a database which will be used in order to offer high quality to the
consumers.
Explaining the data type and sources
Data play significant role in permitting organization to take crucial decisions. There are
different types of data which can be emphasized by specified organization so that taking
initiative of social media for achieving sustainability, effectiveness and privacy can be derived.
There are various types of data which comprises qualitative, quantitative, structured,
unstructured, etc. which can be used by firm to take initiative of social media.
