Project Overview
I am doing the job of Integrated Learning currently at Silva travel and tours in Auckland.
Silva Travel and Tours is the travel agency located in Auckland which is dedicated to providing
the tourist with the finest travel options and the cheapest airfares for all the well-known airlines.
The organization understands the needs on travel (Lai, 2014). Their experienced and skilled
staffs are committed in delivering excellent customer service as well as saving the money
and time. Silva Travel and Tours provides cheap and subsidized ticketing options for airlines
around the globe. With the outstanding customer service skills, the organization not only sell
tickets and also build great customer relationships. The operators of the organization create
itineraries, mostly customized to the customers, for booking and scheduling the travel itineraries
with the suppliers. Travel agents are liaising with the tour operators for booking their consumers
tours and packages. As such, the tour operators frequently concentrate on a specific market
area or destination, whereas the travel agents may focus on selling the entire world with
the extensive list of the suppliers in the list. A ground handler works for the day-to-day activities
and travel scheduling such as picking up passengers from airport and organizing sightseeing
tours (Tsai, 2017). The organization exists to give other participants in the tourism industry
funding, promotion, and incentives. They all work with the slightly different purpose, whether
encouraging sustainable business practices, celebrating the luxury travel sector or linking
travelers. The organization has multiple experienced and skilled staffs for providing the best
service to the clients.
My project for the job Integrated learning at Silva travel and tours is the analysis of the
travel consultant at the organization. For my project for being successful, I will use the content
analysis method and thematic analysis method. The company Silva Travel and Tours will be

providing me the resources like details of the places and fares of the other hotels and airline,
which is provided by the other organization. So that I can understand the budget and packages
very well and guide the people for going with our organization as the best choice. Moreover,
according to the mentor for my training at the organization, I will revise the current approaching
strategies for approaching the potential customer by purchasing for the packages for their best
preferable destination (Jackson, 2015). After the project of the Integrated Learning is completed,
there will be multiple outcomes from this. First there will be a report on the budget and travel
packages. Then there will be presentation of the strategies for approaching the clients and make
it easy for the clients for understanding in a better way (Ferns, Campbell & Zegwaard, 2014). I
will get the knowledge of the strategies for approaching the clients. I will be provided the
position of the travel consultant at the organization after the project or the integrated learning
training. There will also be the induction strategy for the volunteer and employees of the
organization Silva travel and tour.
