INTRODUCTION
Recruitment and selection is one of the complex process for any business organisation. It is
important to hire skilled and knowledgable person so that it can improve efficiency of company.
It helps in enhancing company's efficiency as it allows effective and efficient working if done by
skilled person. This project report is based on BUNI Travels, engage in business of tour and
travelling. This project report will cover a job description of business travel consultant and a job
advert along with recruitment and selection strategy in order to opt best candidate. At last, it will
cover a three month staff development plan fro new starter.

Job description may be referred as a management framework that can be used in understanding
various duties, tasks of a certain position of a company. It helps in defining what is job position
na d what rea the roles and responsibilities individual have to perform. It also helps in defining
way in which work is to be done and how effectiveness could be measured. It also involves
qualifications and skills that are needed to have with candidate who is applying for job. There are
various points that job description have such as job title, location, industry, qualification and
work experience. It helps companies in getting the right candidate as job description allows to
collect data of various candidates and to hire right candidate (Woods and Butler, 2020). If the job
requirements matches with candidate skills and qualification, then it might possible that
company get right hire. It helps in identifying roles and responsibilities that are needed to
perform in company. If company do not hire right candidate then it may be possible that it may
adversely affect company performance. It helps authority in understanding what kind of person is
suitable to fill vacant job position in company. This will help in getting right candidate for coma
y who can bring efficiency by using his skills and knowledge. The candidate should have all

undertaken by management of company who have years of experience in this field. Mostly
companies follows a structured process of hiring process and there are various levels that
candidate have to go through in order to get job position. It is important to opt this procedure or
it may be possible that company might hire wrong candidate and suffer consequences in future.
Recruitment process if quiet time consuming but it eliminates risk of getting hired wrong
candidate. So it is needed to formulate strategies in a well manner or company may incur more

It is important to measure performance of employees so that corrective measure could be taken
in order to improve overall performance of company. It facilitates in attainment of objectives
within given time. The performance of employees defines success criteria for every business and
it is important to monitor activities and take training sessions so that it could improve efficiency
of company. It is responsibility of every employee to regularly upgrade his skills so that it could
take advantage of it and achieve self development. It is needed to conduct training sessions in
order to sharpen skills which can be used in bringing productivity in their respective work.
Following is action plan which helps in improving overall performance of company.
Formulation of action plan – it is the initial stage in which it is needed to identify
company's requirement of action plan and what are the resources needed for formulating
action plan. The action plan involves objectives and targets for which it ahs been
created.It also covers effectiveness criteria so that company can compare with targets
with actual performance in order to evaluate effectiveness of company.
Providing training – This is very important to provide training sessions to staff so that
they can improve their existing skills and learn new skills. This makes them more
productive and effective in their working and thus increases overall performance of
company. It has been analysed that skilled worker can do wrok in an effective ways and
thus grabs opportunity. By providing training sessions, it helps in making eliminating
their weaknesses and company can generate more profit.
Looking out actions – It is important to monitor each and activity of employees and
compares their current performance with previous performance (Moreno, 2019). If the
outcomes shows negative sign, it is needed to take corrective measures so that employees
can become more productive. It helps in reducing overall cost of company as skilled
people can dor work in a faster and efficient manner. Company have to take suggestions
from employees in order to formulate effective strategy.
Evaluation of action plan – In this step, it is needed to evaluate effectiveness of action
plan so that corrective measures could be taken and whenever company faces such

performance with standard performance in order to make alteration in strategy in future.
It enables manager to make necessary changes so that it can formulate effective plans
with alteration in current strategy.
Rational for all choices that have made in this design
from the above project report, it was concluded that job description is an important tool which
can help company in getting right candidate and it is needed to hire right candidate so that it can
improve overall efficiency of company. It is a structured process by which a company can get
right candidate and hire to fill vacant position in company (Spina and Spina, 2022). It helps in
defining qualification and skills that are required for job role position. Job description helps in
defining job roles and responsibilities that a candidate have to perform after he gets selected.
Training is to be provided to staff so that they can imporve their skills and perform duties. Staff
should be allocated with resources based on their skills and knowledge. It is important for
company to measure performance of employees so that they can do work more effectively. Goals
can be achieved by making employees more skilled and for that training is must for them.
Development plans helps in measuring success of employees.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report it was concluded that training plays an important role in
making employees more productive. Skilled employees can do work in an effective manner. It is
needed to formulate strategies that creates opportunities by which company can become more
efficient. The core purpose of development plan is to assess employees performance and to make
them more productive. It helps in attaining company's goals in an effective and efficient manner.
