It is very important for a country to safeguard the all
the activities which have been carried out by the travel
and tourism sector, it is necessary for a country to
protect its travel and tourism activity as it is one of the
industry which shall generate a lot of economy for the
country.
 When any tourist visit the country it shall spend
money on the services he want to avail which will
generate strong financial background for the country

its travel and tourism activity help the country to bring lot
of development which will surely attract the tourist to visit
the place. There are many steps which has been taken by
the government in order to protect travel and tourism.
UK government has enacted and established many
regulatory bodies known as travel and tourism authority
which shall look for all the activities of tourism. There are
many regulation and act has been enacted by the
government by which the interest of the tourist has been
protected

out by the hospitality department. Such responsibility has
been given by the government in order to protect the
interest of tourist. There are travel and tourism law which
has been enacted by the UK government.
The reason behind the establishment of such law is to raise
legal obligation on the person who has been violating the
rights of a tourist of the tourist himself feels that some of
his interest regarding the tourism has been infringed.
Tourist is always considered as the consumer of the
services that is why, his rights were also governed by the
consumer act of the country.

2.2 How local and national economic policy
influences travel and tourism
If a country wants to develop its travel and tourism
sector, it is very important for the country as well as
for the government to introduce some of the national
and local economic policy in order to ensure the
success of travel and tourism. It is very important for
any of the industry to initiate and introduce some of
the policies in order to bring changes. Such changes
shall always lead to development and this development
will bring success to the sector

on a large scale by the people, it is very important to bring some
local and national economic policy for success in travel and
tourism sector. For an example, a local policy related to travel and
tourism shall include the facility of transport and infrastructure.
There shall be certain policies which shall lead to affordable
transport and infrastructure. If such services shall be affordable
then most of the tourist shall get attracted to it and the activity of
travel and tourism shall be influenced on a positive aspect. On the
other hand there are certain national economic policies that is
enabling the country to introduce a efficient cost structure for the
people who have been carrying out the national trade.

2.3 Implications of political change on travel
and tourism sector
A change shall always bring an attractiveness to the country. But is
shall depend, that what kind of change has been brought within the
country. Political change can be referred to one of the change
which can highly effect the activity carried out by the travel and
tourism industry. Basically political change is when all the internal
system of the government has been changed that is bringing
change in the scenario in which a government has been working
It is to be denoted as one of the major change which can effect
most of the business economy which shall be carried out by the
country. of any political change occur in the country it will make
sure that the functioning of government shall be changed also by
which all the policies which have been introduced by previous
government shall get hampered
