Stansted and Heathrow airports. Under this,
it includes a fitness of airlines in terms of
financial and licensing.

1.2 Discuss surface, sea and air transport law in
relation to the carriage of passengers within the legal
and regulatory framework
Surface Law- There is an international carriage of
passenger by road act, 1977 that are governed
under the surface law of the country. Thus, the rules
and regulation are formulating for the purpose of
protecting the travel passengers while they are
getting permission on the board. Therefore, it
remedies to the claim within the current legislation
and regulation that are mainly involves such as any
kind of property damages while passengers are on
travelling.

 Sea Law- Under this, there is an international Maritime
organisation that are mainly formulating through the
United Nation which makes sure that there is a security

passengers. Thus, it also include that they are regulating
the various factor of environment that are majorly

Thereafter, there is an other law in which there is an
international Convention for the safety of life at
sea( SOLAS) in which they are regulating the various
function in which they protect from fire in that they take

Air Law- There are various regulation and legislation
under the air transport law and there is another act is the
Warsaw convention of 1929. it can be define as the
international carriage that are lay down the various
regulation and rules that are concern with the
documentation of carriage. It assist the passengers to claim
for the compensation when they are suffering from any
death and person injury while they are travelling. It needed
that the carriages have to performing the function in which
they have to check the luggage at the starting of its
journey.
