INTRODUCTION
Tourists destinations consists of the city, town or country which attracts large number of
people to visit such places. Moreover, inherent or exhibited natural or cultural values, historical
aspects, natural beauties or sceneries, adventures, leisures etc. attracts people to visit different
destinations of the world. In the preset era, people prefer to visit the attractions of different nations
on the basis of their interests. Thus, now travel companies, hotel and other sector offers memorable
travelling experience to the visitors. In this regard, the income, interest and desire is one of the main
factors which have high level of influence on the selection of tourists destination to the large extent.
The present report is based on city destination which will compare UK destination with the overseas
one. Besides this, it depicts the growth trend of both the destinations by making assessment of their
past aspects in terms of number of visitors, revenue generated etc. Further, it will also shed light on
the cultural, social and physical features which affects the growth of UK destination.

preferences of the people. Now, people place more emphasis on visiting the attractive points of the
world rather than saving more. Hence, changes which take place in such trends has also provided
more benefit to the several industries such as hospitality, transportation, restaurants, shopping and
entertainment etc. Besides this, tourists development makes remarkable contribution in the
economic growth and well-being (Swarbrooke and Page, 2012). It is one of the main factor due to
which government also places more emphasis on the promotion of their country and cities with the
aim to attract more people.
In UK, London is selected as a tourists destination place which have several points of
attractions such as London eye, British and other Museums, National gallery, churches etc. All these
centres or places closely influence the visitors to come and see the attractive creativity of it.
Whereas, in overseas Paris is the most beautiful destination having The Eiffel tower, Museums,
Sainte Chapelle etc. In this, the comparison of the London and Paris as a destination place are

which will result into the increasing number of domestic visitors. Hence, by promoting London as a
tourist destination place UK will enjoy more benefits in terms of revenue and high economic

London. Hence, this issue may affect the quality of the services offered by London. Thus,
