Western Europe urbanization largely contributed in growth and development of tour
industry as majority of people had to visit (tour) frequently to big cities for employment
opportunity occurred due to seasonal demand of labour, it created the culture of tour and
travelling. These labour had less leisure time remain but they also had family responsibility and
social life. Apart from it, they had to make time for spiritual activities and festival. In order to
full fill these need “holiday with pay Act” introduced in 1938. This Act encourage people to go
out of the station with family and friend to relax and enjoyment, without taking tension of
termination.
In 1952 Horizon Travel render The First Tour package to its customer because families
wanted to see battlefields of their brother and father died in First world war. These travel
packages were cheap and flexible in compare of traditional travelling tools, now people could
avail accommodation and food facility in packages, which was a tough task in new country as
people did not have sound Internet facility too (for searching hotel and restaurants). Package
culture contributed positively in tour industry, now people could take fast and tension free
decision to go other country (Bac, Bugnar and Mester, 2015).
A de Havilland Comet was the first jet flight flew form London to Johannesburg in 1952.
This was the first ever commercial flight that carried 36-44 passenger, before this flight, air plane
was made to carry good and material form one to another country. This commercial flight
designed specially for passenger only as it had greater leg room and spacious environment, Large

could travel safely and with comfort. It also facilitated fast moving to traveller( because of

CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been concluded that tourism industry totally changed with
time, now people are more conscious about their travelling experience. Every organisation who
is working in tour industry must put its effort in knowing their customer's interest and
preference than after facilitate service to them otherwise customer will not get total satisfaction
what is expected. This industry is so much depend on mouth of word marketing. Company can
improve its image in front of its customer only by treat them like king. To reach this objective
they must train their employee as Firm do not have tangible product, here customer judge tour
company on the basis of treatment and facility received by company.
