INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism is a social, cultural and economic phenomenon which entails the
movement of people or objects such as aeroplanes, boats, trains and other conveyances relatively
distant geographical locations. It is when people travel away from where they live for reasons or
purpose of business, leisure or recreation. Travel and tourism is one of the world's largest
industries with global economy contribution. This assignment based on travel and tourism
industry and in this report are covered key milestones of the travel and tourism that help in the
development of this industry (Alčaković, Pavlović and Popesku, 2017). Evaluation of
interrelationship between elements of travel and tourism or the factors that affect the popularity
of range of global destination are explained.

There are various milestones for travel in travel and tourism industry like transportation,
technology and others. Technology make many changes in the transportation make it easy. In
16th century people use carts and boats for travel but now these days there are various resource of
transportation like buses, cars, motors, aeroplanes and trains or many other resources which help
in make transportation easy and saving time. Transportation is the first and important milestone
for the travel and tourism industry because in past days people use different resources.

P2. Various elements of the travel and tourism industry
Tourism is a dynamic and competitive industry that requires the ability to adapt
constantly changes in the customers needs and desires. There are two elements that play a
important role in Tourism industry. These elements are such as:
Direct elements- In tourism, direct elements are accommodation, transportation, activities and
ancillary services. If the customers want to go to travel, firstly they focus on these elements like
good accommodation and transportation services (Felicen, 2017). For example if tourist go for
travelling of Constant, a city of Romania and the accommodation and transport services are good
of that city and tourist are satisfied, the experience of them are good and if they not like services
the experience of them are bad.
Indirect elements- In travel and tourism industry, indirect elements are related to roads, airports,
communications, electricity, water supply, sewerage or waste disposal and building industry
(Ouma, 2016). Before going on travelling the tourist think about these elements that at which
destination, they are going, electricity and water supply are available there or not and the
constructions of roads and transportation services are good.
Interrelation of these factors
These both elements are related to each other because if the tourists are go for travelling
they thing about better travelling services like if they want to go by airway they collect
information about the airport and for staying they find out a good hotels and inns which provide
them better services included water supply, electricity, meal service and other services. For
example American tourists go to travel to Constant city, and Americans mostly afford airways
services so they think that at which location they go there are any airport available or not. And in
which hotel they stay the need of them will be, there are a attach let-bath, wife, TV, water
supply, electricity, telecommunication services and other services related to food or others. And
