Introduction:
The history of the evolution of the travel and tourism sector is
recommendable. From the past several years, the industry has
experienced an overwhelming customer figure that accounted in the
profitability. This sector of any country is continuously growing
because of the modifications in the living standard of people.
Consequent to this, GDP of any nation highly appreciates the travel
and tourism industry. Thus, allowing the sector to further grow in an
effective manner
20th century: This period has observed a major development in the
travel and tourism sector. In this era, the technologies were began to
take place leading to the enhancement in the travel and tourism sector.
The means of transportation has become better, less time-consuming,
designed according to the lifestyle of the people, etc. These features
accounts in observing tremendous growth over the period. Tourists
have experiences tours to various countries in this period. The first
international tour was planned to Europe.
21st Century: With the advancements in the technology, travelling
to the various places became a simpler process. The modern-
lifestyle of the people have raised their living standards and thus,
their focus towards holiday packages. Further, the international
expansion of the market has influenced people to attend the
business meetings held in different nations. The leisure’s from the
job has made the consumers to travel more. In addition to this, the
development in the adventures such as treks, bungee jumping,
paragliding, etc. impacted on the person who loves thriller
activities
19th Century: This was the period of the beginning of the tourism
activities. The first tour package was also developed in this phase by
Thomas Cook. It may however be recognised that these services were
limited to the high-class people only. The people in this time were
living in agriculture communities which was stationary and least
