Travel and Tourism consider the most essential sector which comprises various industries
and also sub industries. This sector provide different services related to retail travel, tourist
boards, exchange of currency , travel and tour operator and diversified accommodation services
etc. For this report, Southampton International Airport Limited organisation chosen that basically
located in Southampton , UK. This airport managed more than 1,787,457 passengers. The main
motive of this report to discuss the current skills which I have for the particular job role in this
airport and also identify those skills which I need to develop for my job role. This report also

In the finding of the self audit, I identified my current skills which I already have for the
reputed job. The description of those skills which I currently have are given below - Strong Communication Skills- From the self audit I analysed that I am already good in
communication skills and I also have strong knowledge about good oral and written
skills. This skill is really helpful for my job role. Team work – I am comfortable with team work and I also motivate my other team
members. I analysed that some team member also take some inspiration from my work
ethics. Computer Skills – I have excellent knowledge about computer and I usually do all my
work on computer. Excellent knowledge of computer will help me to get good job. Motivational Skills- I am a very positive person that's why I always motivate my
friends , colleagues, and other staff members. This skill is essential for my job and I am
happy because this skill I already have (Buhalis, 2019).
 Stress Tolerance – I have a good capability to manage and tolerate the stress and anxiety
situations. This skill will help to work in many diversified situations. This skill is
prominent for my job.

The description of skills which I need to learn are given below- Negotiation Skills - I generalised that I am not good in negotiation skills and I have only
average knowledge about this skill so that I am looking forward to improve this skills
which will help to take a good and suitable job. Leadership- I have good knowledge about the motivational skills and I am also good in
team work but I analysed that I do not have good leadership quality that's why I really
want to develop leadership quality. Through excellent leadership, I will easily give guide
my team members and work systematically (Fesenmaier and Xiang, 2017). Critical Problem Solving Skills – I have lack of knowledge about this skill so that I wish
to learn this skills which can be useful and improve my productivity and performance.

the International Airport. With the help of these skills which I need to develop will easily get this
job. Knowledge of Weather situations – Weather Knowledge is crucial for the operational
manager job at international airport so that I will learn this skills and try hard to improve
my knowledge about weather and forecasting. People Management Skills- . I need to improve this skills because this skill will help me
