INTRODUCTION
In modern time, most of business sectors within United Kingdom are continuously
growing but, Travel and tourism is said to be one of the fastest growing sector that has helped
economic conditions to get improvised in much effective and in efficient manner (Aminudin and
Jamal, 2019). This section of the report has considered TUI group as the travel and tourism
business organisation. This is said to be an Anglo German Tourism business organisation i.e.
dealing at international level. Respective report is based on the key milestones in the
development of respective industry with different elements and their relation with tourist
experience.
TASK 1

The last two decades, has been really very crucial for the Travel and Tourism (T&T)
Industry of Britain, because social media has helped people to get to know about different exotic
and adventurous destinations. With the help of this, number of visitors has got increased where
they visited Britain or United Kingdom for different reasons like trading, entertainment, religion
and so on. On the other hand, it can be said that development of travel and tourism industry takes
lot of time and this may create different milestones and has helped firms in satisfying consumers
needs and wants in positive manner. In the year of 1936, Billy Bulletin opens his first holiday
camp in Skegness and in 1938 holiday pay act introduced in market place that is the foundation
stone of Travel and Tourism industry of United Kingdom (Asongu and et. al., 2019).
Apart from this, in 1952 first airline, which took place was Jet Airline that started this
type of services and served the best type of experience to customers. Along with this, if it is
talked about Britain then in the year of 1960, domestic holidays has exceeded all the numbers
existing numbers as people started visiting new places for different reasons. In the same way,
foreign trade also got improvised because different countries started trading with each other due
to rise in number of visitors.
Considering the same, new service providers has also taken place where in the year of
1995 Le shuttle and Eurostar carry their first passenger through the channel tunnel. Apart from
that, another milestone that came in front was that, in the year of 2001 EasyJet has supported
travellers and in this way company has earned around 71.6 million as profit, because this airline

service has made around 11.4 million passengers to travel all around the world (Brauer, R.,
Dymitrow, M. and Tribe, 2019).
Therefore, it can easily be said that in a really very short span travel and tourism industry
has grabbed number of opportunities in a short span and this has given huge profits as well
within a time frame.

In present time, it is said that there are ample number of elements like historical, weather,
scenic attractions, accessibility, cultural factors, safety and security, accommodation, amenities
and so on. that are affecting in both negative and positive manner on T&T industry and few of
them are mentioned underneath:
Pleasant weather/ climate:
Individuals wants to make a trip to their preferred atmosphere as significantly they living
in chilly places long for bright atmosphere. As now and then encountering diverse atmosphere
fill in as an inspirational factor for them. In setting of TUI Group they most popular for different
travelling packages according to the season so as to give one of best encounters to them.
Historical and cultural factors:
Particular component of travel and tourism sector, which majorly impacts in both
negative and positive manner on mindset of different explorers that are looking forward to enjoy
and get entertainment among new destinations. In setting of TUI Group they offers customers
with various holiday and other type of packages to the recorded goals as enormous no. of
Americans and Canadians visit London because of their recorded and social attractions.
Considering the above information, it can easily be said that customers simultaneously
focuses upon different elements like accommodation, accessibility, safety, amenities and security
in order to get the best experience in a shorter span.
CONCLUSION
While focusing on the information, which has been presented it can easily be summarised
that travel and tourism industry may go through or deal with different elements like pleasant
weather/ climate, historical and cultural factors and so on which may impact negatively and
positively over time to time. These effectively need proper modifications so that to gain high
benefits and to support the economy of a country.
