With reference to Travelodge as a Hotel Manager at Bar Cafe of Travelodge, this report will
assess its job description and will develop the set of responsibilities and performance
objectives. An evaluating will also be conducted against the defined objectives and
improvements will also be recommended.
1.1 DEVELOPING A SET OF OWN RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE
OBJECTIVES AS HOTEL MANAGER AT TRAVELODGE HOTEL
Working as a Hotel Manager at Bar Cafe at Travelodge I have developed own set of
responsibilities and objectives of performance under the following heads:
Job responsibility
I will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching the housekeeping and bar café teams
of the hotel and the reception staff so as to ensure the effective working at the hotel and
ensure greater satisfaction among the staff and personnel department (Kearney, 2018).
Mutual responsibility
As mutual responsibility, I will be responsible to ensure for fulfilling the hotel resourcing
requirements together with a successful plan for future talent. This will help me in
accomplishing the performance measure through ensuring outstanding customer experience at
bar café of Travelodge (Hogan, 2017).
Self-responsibility
I will be own responsible for developing the hotel team such that the staff and other employees
at Travelodge feel proud to work and deliver outstanding customer services. It is also a self-
responsibility to drive the team so that the food and beverage revenue can be maximised by
exceeding the commercial targets and managing the costs effectively (Kearney, 2018).

Being a manager I also own responsibility of maintaining safety at the workplace so as to
maintain the security and ensure better performance of the employees. For the same safety
and security plan will be created by me so as to regularly inspect the workplace and ensure
healthy working (Hogan, 2017).

of the organisation by working even better. This will thus help in achieving the desired goals

I would like to improve the communication skill in context to the different languages which will
help me in better communication with overseas customers as well and will help to fulfil the
