Executive summary
Getaways Travels is a new company which is being proposed in the project that deals or
handles several flight bookings which are made available in order to generate user easiness
for making them travel to different places where they desire in a short span of time. The
entire developed system delivers several facilities related to searching of all available flight
that enables user to have a brief knowledge related to the flights available for them in actual
time. In addition to this also the services related to reservation of hotel, engaging of cab and
availability of food is delivered. This created model of airline comprises of entire description
of this project including the process flow and explains the entire working of proposed project
as well as methods occurring for its enhancement. It even pronounces the project related
market scope and emphasise on the methods that helps in generating the attraction among
various users. It even states the working aim of the defined project and the process selected
for accomplishing those determined aims.
It describes the working statement and different methods in which the team member
responsibilities are being segregated along with the scheduling that is being carried out for
the desired project. It pronounces the strategic alignment that is also being proposed along
with the current system description that comprises of issues and several occurred problems. It
even states the analysis of stakeholder as well as management analysis which are further
proposed. It even defines the methodology for elicitation requirements and statement related
requirement. A proper risk analysis and strategies of its management is being defined that
comprises of solutions proposed for analysed issues and solutions for change related
management.

An airline proposed system developed as ‘Getaways Travels’ use to simplify the process for
the reservation performed for flights by users that enables them to make ticket purchase via
online medium in a way that is effective and well-organized. This system of online airline
facility plays a crucial role in delivering several facilities related to searching of all available
flight that enables user to have a brief knowledge related to the flights available for them in
actual time. Also it enables user to determine the schedules of flight for the coming future. In
addition to this also the services related to reservation of hotel, engaging of cab and
availability of food is delivered. This project report described below creates a model of
airline which comprises of entire description of this project including the process flow and
explains the entire working of proposed project as well as methods occurring for its
enhancement.

Project Management Overview
Statement of work
The work statement states the complete services delivered by the entire project. The work
statement provides complete information according to the needs of business project, scope of
project and its strategic plan. This project enables the proposal of a system developed
providing a system named as ‘Getaways Travels’ leading to the shifting of manual system of
ticketing to online system of ticketing. The work statement for the project of ‘Getaways
Travels’ based references are described as follows:
 Strategic plan: In the given project the strategic plan is to develop a system for
information which enables user to online purchase flight tickets. The system proposed

comprises of database which stores information related to traveller or customer, a
person or admin for system maintenance, team for resolving customer based enquiries
and and delivering services to customer, team of marketing to create relations with
flight, cab and hotel companies. As the plan developed for the strategies use of PayPal
is done as means of payment. The division of project occurs in various tasks
depending of the task scheduled. Various tasks along with the schedules are then
further being described in the created WBS structure.
 Need of business: The basic requirement of the described project is to create a system
which enable user to online purchase flight tickets for its easiness. It even provides
several other functions that are surfing of flight, schedule based enquiry and flight
tracking.
 Scope: The project scope is to convert system of ticketing effectively to online
medium with providing several additional functions. The scope can be clearly
achieved by requirement gathering that is crucial for issues analysis, task
determination and scheduling, stakeholder communication and documentation of
project (Hashemi, Sharifi, and Paghaleh, 2014).
Project Team Members and Responsibilities
The project is carried out by the complete working of a team which consist of four members
which further gets the responsibility divided between all of them for the project of Getaways
Travels. The members are segregated as:

4th Member: Sai Prasad Reddy Enukonda
Roles played by 1st Member: Avinash Reddy Gudipally
 Manager of project: They use to coordinate with all of the remaining team members
about several occurring activities that are defining scope of the project and creating its
schedule. Set a particular standard which helps in risk identification and dealing with
that arose risk.

 Quality manager: They assure the fulfilment of all expectations of the associated
users and must be capable to preserve as well as test all software being used features.
Roles played by 2nd Member: Sreeramya Udutha
 Lead developer: Principles of departmental standards are generally enforced about
the features developed and the speed and quality related maintenance.
 Testing specialist: The project testing is done after its development and proper
execution making it easier to determine the occurring bugs and issues and describe
various programs to resolve them.
Roles played by 3rd Member: Priyadharsshini Sekar
 User interface designer: It helps in creating of designs and various user interfaces in
order to that a design is being compared of different computers so as to maintain the
desired consistency.
Roles played by 4th Member: Sai Prasad Reddy Enukonda
 Programmer: They are used to create a different software programs for development
for system along with focusing on the entire programming to ensure it is user-friendly.
 Development and research manager: They use to command over quantitative and
qualitative project parts and along with it play a crucial role at the time of client’s
presentation. They highly are valuable to the recommendation and conclusion
provided.

The proposed plan for strategic alignment comprises of different several steps which are
arranged in the form of a complete cycle. The desired cycle starts with a proposed project
regarding Goal which are designed or determined for the Getaways Travels that comprises of
creation of system for online travel which enables user to buy flight tickets online, search the
availability of flights, enquiring the schedules of flights, checking flight schedules for near
future and flight tracking etc. It is desired to achieve various Outcomes that are desired for
developing a system for Getaways Travels which requires being reliable and user-friendly for
delivering additional features and accomplishing the ease of passenger. It is easy to reach
there just by following numerous Strategies which smoothly divides the entire task among
all members of team and segregating the responsibilities by developing a work breakdown
structure. Along with this a proper scheduling based on the task which is being performed is
made to be done effectively and in lesser time. By target measuring the success gained by the
Getaways Travels can even be measured so that it can be achieved properly as the entire
analysis is being desired which generate results. The generated results are being later
improved by creating various amendments in entire system in order to add different modes of
payment along with current PayPal like E-wallet and spreading awareness among all users
regarding the stores nearby for means of ticket purchase.
