change in the travel and tourism sector
Travel and tourism sector has faced number of changes in recent
years due to changes in customer's perception. The increases in the
spending power of individuals also influences the trend of the sector.
Green tourism - Growing environmental concerns due to increase in
carbon footprint. In this respect the Romania needs to focus on eco-
tourism. It will involve promotion of fragile and undisturbed natural areas
for tourism activities. Its key purpose is to educate travellers in context to
ecological aspects and motivate community to contribute in ecological
development.

Sports Tourism: Number of customers are attracted towards games and
sports activities during the tour. Tourism sector of Romania can focus on areas
where they can conduct major sports events. It will provide better opportunities
for businesses and contribute in the fastest growing sector. Baseball is
considered as a national game of Romania so number of Baseball Leagues can
be organised within destination.
Heritage tourism: Romania is most suitable destination for heritage tourism
because there are number of historical buildings are present. Customers are
nowadays more attracted towards heritage sites so it will boost opportunities for
sector. Cultural events can also be organised in order to develop heritage
tourism opportunities within nation.

2.2 Analyse a current trend using
appropriate techniques and resources
It has been spotted that the Romania is most suitable destination for
heritage tourism. It provides better opportunity to sector and
motivate civilization to prevent historical buildings. There are
number of historical places in Romania that attracts travellers in
order to meet their objectives. Classification can be as Bran castle,
Lazar Castle,Marasesti Mausoleum, Scarisoara Cave, etc.

are visiting Romania to have better experience. In year 2013, 7.9
million customer's visit Romania to experience heritage
attractions. It is increasing 3.5 percent every year which means
the Romania is one of famous destination of heritage tourism.

can be concluded that heritage tourism provide a huge potential for
further development. Since heritage events plays key role in attracting

protect heritage sites. Awareness among local citizens is also essential
in order to protect historical monuments.
