Product Life Cycle of T-shirt
T-shirt are one of the most trending fashion item in the clothing world due to its
inexpensiveness, durable as well as comfortness since most of the time it is made up of 100%
cotton or mixed with polyester. Before the t-shirts comes to our hands it passes through four
major stages which are described below:
Initiation phase –

Initially in order to produce cotton t-shirts, in this stage a feasibility study on this
approach in being created later on based on those findings the it determines the possible
future scope of this project and analyse the desired requirements which includes the cotton
balls and required equipment and materials.

Followed by this step the t-shirt making process moves to the next step.

Planning Phase –
This stage is about the planning phase of how the execution team and closure team

Execution Phase –
This phase is the execution phase of t-shirt making process. Which includes the below steps:
Step 1 - In this stage the cottons collected from the fields are send to a giant gin in which the
chaff and seeds will be separated from the cotton balls.

Step 2 -Next, the cotton balls are send to a spinner in which the fibers are blended, combed
and carded as well. Later on the carded fibers are knit to convert into a loom which is a rough
fabric. Followed by the above processes the rough fabrics are then processed with the contact
of chemicals and heat. After this treatment the fabrics became the final material which will be
utilized in the making of t-shirt. Fundamentally this procedure has three separate parts which
includes preparation, painting and finishing. Thus, after completion of this stage the t-shirt
material gets its desired colour and softness.

Step 3 - Followed by this the next step is to sew the material into the desired pattern.

After the above stages the t-shirts gets its final touch in which it gets the desired design and
style considering the market demand. Finally, the t-shirts are packed well and send to the
market for sale.
