INTRODUCTION
Marketing mix is the tool which refers to the set of actions or the tactics , which is
used by the organizations to promote their product, services and their brand so they can
achieve success in the competitive market. There are four prices of the marketing mix which
are product, place, promotion and price.
This report will compare two companies Twinings English Breakfast tea and
Yorkshire Tea and it will compare on the bases of their price strategy. Place, product and
promotional strategy. This report will compare and define the strategies used by both
companies and how they are taking competitive advantages in the market.

Twinings English Breakfast tea is an English marketers of the tea and other beverage
which also include Hot chocolate , coffee and malt drink this all are base in Andover,
Hampshire. Their products are not based on any gender and their target customers are
between the age group of 10 to 60. Their product s such as tea is mostly drink by the adults
and coffee mostly drinks by the young people (Lilien, Rangaswamy and De Bruyn., 2017).
Their Drinks are related to the English culture and mostly drink by the English people so their
target markets are also countries where mostly English people live. People in the United
kingdom like see movie channels so Twinings English Breakfast tea are promoting their
product in a movie channels of the UK.
Yorkshire Tea is the family business which was started in 1886 in Harrogate, one of
the nicest town in the Yourkshire. This company is selling their tea in the lower prices which
can be affordable by the both higher and lower class people. Their main focus on the welfare
o the people so their tea is made with the proper care and them always look for the hingene.
Their target are every kind of people its depend on the quality of the lea. They are having
different categories of the tea from low to high. Their target market are American and Uk
market both because they believe on no discrimination on the people and they want to send
this message to every community.

Fruit and Herbal Infusions, Green tea and Signature Blends. Fruit and Herbal tea is for the

diet and they want to reduce their weight packaging of this product is average. Costliest tea of
the Twinings English Breakfast tea is their Signature Blend. This tea is exporting by the other
countries such as Assam and their taste is unique and special. Cost of the product is very high
and their packing and design makes this product look more expensive.
Yorkshire Tea
To maintain the quality Yorkshire Tea company mix the more than 15 flavours
in their tea to create unique taste. They are doing this from more than 130 years. They mainly
focus to give importance to the environment and their packaging as recyclable, reusable and
compostable as possible. There is no harm to the environment and this can be recyclable.
This also create good image among the people because this make them think like they are
also9 contribution toward the environment and it has no side effect to the environment and
animals as well. Yorkshire Tea, regular caffeinated tea, Standard box packaging with nice
traditional imager which shows the traditionalist and attract every kind of people to drink
this tea and enjoy their drink.

companies and they are using premium pricing strategy to attract customers so they can buy
their products. this company can show their presence at the high market and achieve their

platforms and Television channels. This is helping their company to attract people to but their
products. They also advertise their products at the social media platforms which helps this
company to reach to their target audience. Most of the promotion if their product done on the
websites where they are selling their products such as Amazon where they advertise other
products to they can sell their product and earn profit by selling. Marketing team of the
Twinings English Breakfast Tea Company sell their product by reach home of the people.
They get target from their company and when they complete their target they get reward from
