This literature review investigates the effectiveness of exercise interventions in managing type 2 diabetes. The review analyzes five peer-reviewed articles selected from databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, and CINAHL using a PICO search strategy. The studies, including both quantitative and qualitative research, highlight the benefits of regular exercise in controlling blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of associated health issues, and promoting overall well-being for individuals with type 2 diabetes. The analysis emphasizes that incorporating regular exercise into the daily routine, alongside medication, is crucial for effective diabetes management and improved health outcomes. The review concludes that exercise is a vital component in the comprehensive management of type 2 diabetes.
