The paper mainly reflects on the principles of project management that is mainly applied
for redeveloping an app for Uber drivers for providing directive approach to the drivers and for
giving them the facility of simple as well as fastest driving experience. The paper analyses the
PMBOK knowledge areas as well as processes and generally helps in creating proper impact on
the practices of project management. The paper also compares various approaches of project
management for successfully executing the project. In addition to this, proper project
management tools as well as techniques are utilized in order to manage the risks that are faced by
the project team while developing the app.

The redevelopment of app for the Uber drivers will generally act as one of the personal

payback period. Uber has made changes in their current process by reviewing the websites of
drivers and forums which indicated that the drivers should remain unsatisfied (Todorović et al.,
2015). The drive friendly measurement is to allow for greater flexibility to pick which directions
the rides are taken them. Other is to pack back for the tolls which are incurred while taking to the
riders. The time value of the money is not to be taken in this case. In implementation of Uber

precession of goods where quality is based on priority of the customers and also customer’s
expectations. Therefore, entire project documents are to be reviewed by the project manager.
Project management tools and techniques based on risk management
There are a number of tools and techniques of project management based on the risk
management in this particular project are:Documentation review is one of the standard is used to
identify the project risks by reviewing the project related documents like lessons learned,
organizational processes and project related assets (Bathallath, Smedberg, & Kjellin,
2016).Brainstorming is performed with group of people those are focused on identification of the
risks in Uber application development project for the drivers (Kerzner, 2018). Mainly, the target
group is the drivers to analyze if the Uber app provides benefits to them in picking up the
passengers from its pick up location as well as reaches them to its designation.
Root-cause analysisis determined to identify the causes of identified project risks in the
project work. The causes of each project risks are based on identification of the risks in new
project such as customers and driver’s satisfaction level (Yet et al., 2016). The IT system failure
is also maintained properly so that there are no causes of system failures in building of app.
