The purpose of the report is to review the performance of Uber eats and issues faced by them.
The companies we have used provide food delivery services to the people from past years. The
findings are highly based on the analysis of the delivery times and information gathered through
relevant sites and sources. This food delivery services offered by Uber eats has focused on
building customer relationship and enhancing the profitability.
FINDINGS
Courier Wages are very low
The key issue identified is that the charges for delivery of the food have prominently become
high. This is due to minimum rates mentioned by the government on the substances. The rates
are reducing to £3.50 from £5.
Food Margins
The charges of the uber eats are declining in terms of accepted services. This refer to the fact
Uber eats cost 30% less price on the food products from the restaurants they have tie up with.
The food products that are offered are likely to enable the figures of the organization like costing
£3 for £10 product. This could certainly lead to loss in the business.
Waiting for Orders
The rapid increase in the demand of the couriers has lead to the delay in the service time. It has
been observed that sometimes it can take 5 hours for the orders to reach to particular customer.
This directs on poor job security of the individual. The customer services offered on the orders
have left many complaints and in addition, it has no tracking systems to meet the customer
demand.

The services offered by the Uber eats are highly recommendable in the UK as well as in the other
areas. This requires certain improvements and can look for the certain potential alternatives to
manage the loss. This would additional aim for efficiency and building a strong customer base.
This can also direct on expanding their operations in the other areas and managing the time based
operations through picking up a single area for the delivery services.

The renewal of the contract, I recommend the following steps to be undertaken:
To manage the performance level, reputation in the selected area
Approach riders and restaurants in the nearby area for the particular food products
Based on the research, the company can focus on the cost effective contract. This can help them
in dealing with the issues in the UK as well as internationally. They are:
Improvement in the on-time deliveries
Improving the delivery options and providing discounted offers so that people can place
more and more orders
A clear policy about additional charges when the customer is not in to take the order on
the particular location
