INTRODUCTION
A procedure of an effective planning, decision-making, controlling and organizing
resources of company is known as management Gyawali, Ramakrishna & Dhamoon, (2019).
This Present study is based on Uber, American company. This present study will discuss current
marketing issue that this company is facing and their link with its marketing function.

Current context of organization
Uber is an American company that offers vehicles for hire, courier, food delivery and
other packages delivery. It made a rapid growth but along with this, it came into many
controversies. In the year of 2011 it made tremendous growth The History of Uber, (2020.).
Management issues and linkage of issues with the management function
One of the management issues that Uber company is facing is prioritizing compliance,
lack of transparency. It results in siloed teams that lacks coordination as well as supporting.
Denial of fair pay, ineffective working environment and exploit ion of workers rights are some
problems that Uber is facing. All these problems are leading to main management problem of
staff turnover. This issue has affected its image in a negative manner and it is also found that due
to all these problems many companies declines its rider ship. It also affected its growth and sales

It is believed that management issues occur because of lack and ineffective management
functions. All these issues of staff turnover and decreased sales at Uber is cause of lack of
controlling and monitoring management function Misun & Hudakova, (2020). If it had focused
on all management functions including proper controlling then it may have not faced this issue.
Proper controlling and monitoring functions allow company in knowing effectiveness of
performance and also knowing whether employees are going on the right track or not.
CONCLUSION
It has been summarized from the above study that lack of management planning and
controlling function leads to several management related issues. Management issues affect image
of the company.
