INTRODUCTION
I always had a keen interest in business management subject since a very young age due to
which I opted to pursue my career in it. I always aspired to start my career through UCAS for
adult nursing. I have worked with various companies so as to learn one of the other thing that can
support me bridge my career in this sector. Recently I have resigned from L’Express Coffee
Company, London, where I worked as a courier assistant. I have also worked as a bar tender in
Spaccanapoli Caffetteria Gastronomia and Mayfair Nani’s restaurant. It helped me in gaining
knowledge regarding how to deal with the customers. I was able to collect ample amount of
experience in customer interaction and providing in formation to the customers regarding the
best product they can choose and convincing them to buy the same in utmost professional
format. My experience, at the post of sales advisor, helped me in giving experience with regard
to handling of cash, meeting deadlines and maintain smooth stock room which can help me in
managing the patients and their medicines as well. I also worked as a receptionist with Dean’s
hair Fulham where I was responsible for providing high quality of services to customers in the
form of queries resolving and presenting the details of goods and services offered by the
company. It can help in satisfying the requirements of patient which may vary from one another.
The experiences in various companies not only improved my technical knowledge where I can
handle customers in better way, but it also assisted in development of soft skills, such as,
adaptability, working under pressure, time management, involving in multi-tasking activities,
etc. It shows that I have the capability to manage everything which is the core skill to be
practiced by a nurse. Once, a practitioner was required in a clinic where I worked to ensure that I
can have basic knowledge regarding the subject matter. Hence, I opted to pursue my career as a
nurse.
With my BA Honours in Business management, I was able to develop various skills
through the theoretical and practical knowledge I received while pursuing this course. I was able
to thorough the terms of business and able to understand professional language used in the
sector. It will help me in dealing with the patients and communicating with them effectively.
Apart from this, I got training to deal with large number of people so that I can provide better
services in retail sector. It generated my interest in this sector where I am sure enough that I can
deliver the best possible services to the customers and to the organization as well.

Through various types of training I have received in retail field, I am able top develop the
skills of selling, communicating with the customers and giving them a lead, self-confidence and
enthusiasm to do something new and better every day, perseverance and stamina. It is an
important skill set to be possessed by nurse as well. I enjoy talking to people and understanding
their requirements and desires with respect to the product and services offered by the company.
Working with the retail sector have always attached me to pursue goals and what I actually like
to do.
Sometimes adequate amount of calm and polite behaviour is required to be conducted by
a sales personnel even if the customer is not satisfied and is bursting upon you. I have been able
to develop the same through experience that can help me in my nursing practice as well. I try to
investigate about their taste and preference and focus upon the same while giving them options
for products and services. It shows tat I am able to show my practical and compassionate side to
the customers while dealing with them. I have been able to develop this perseverance through my
experience with various small companies and large corporations. Working in diversified areas
have helped me in choosing the best out of all fields and chose a profession that is tailor made
where practices can be adopted as per the individual’s will. I am thankful that I have been able to
join a course of business management where I can apply my knowledge and skills together so as
to achieve the best possible outcome. It is important to have calm and polite nature while dealing
with the patients and their family members. I was able to gather it from business management
and retail sector experience I carry.
I have mostly worked with a team where more than 10 people tend to work together to
achieve a specific goal and have been able to represent myself as a competent team member who
can complete all the tasks within specific duration. It has helped me in developing problem
solving skills through group discussion. Dealing with the customers require analytical skills
where an individual must understand that what is the demand and what must be supplied. In such
cases, analysis of the customer demand helps in fulfilling it in the best possible manner.
During my bachelor’s, I had to make and present at least two project every moth. It
assisted in developing communication skills and also, I was able to realise the importance of it.
Special concern is given to quality of tense and vocabulary I use while communicating with
others. Aggressiveness does not help if one is working with a retail sector. Hence, I always try to
be polite to the customers which always bring them back for next shopping. Besides this, I own

traits and character to be in retail sector. Due to knowledge and aptitude I own related to it.
Another influential resource I carry are, resource management, time management, team building,
managing conflicts in a team, etc. I believe in fulfilment of responsibilities in a trustworthy
manner, despite of going through various challenge while being on the job and off the job.
I am a keen learner and hence always appreciate to be with a senior with whom I can
learn and grab experience. Being passionate about my dreams, I always try to be focussed upon it
which can help me in generating the best out of me and providing same to the company as well. I
possess adequate quality of working under pressure where I can efficiently complete my work
with full enthusiasm and zest. I hold upon adequate problem-solving skills that makes me fit to
put in the situation that requires to solve certain issue being generated in the team. Holding
sufficient amount of skills in managing risks is another important aspect that I own which makes
me best suited for the job offered by your health care organization.
Troubleshooting problems help in reaching to the specific solution that can be used by an
individual in such a manner that the best shot can be given at every step. Because, I have already
worked with various organizations earlier, I understand the importance time and work
management. I always try to divide my roles and requirements in such a manner that I can give
my best shot in every task I opt for. It helps in delivering duties with superlative degree of
perfection and satisfaction. It not only helps in delivering the best to the customers, but also have
inner gratification of delivering duties with utmost faith and trust. I truly believe in continuous
learning and due to this reason, I always try to learn something new and innovative which may
not be known to me. It has always helped me in growing my learning in this sector.
Concluding the same it can be stated that, I own all the qualification and experience that
an individual must possess to deliver his duties in retail sector. It is due to this reason, I want to
learn and enhance my skill in this sector and see my career growth in it. I hope my association
