INTRODUCTION
Before conducting a international business its necessary of the firm to be aware of the
culture of target country so that it can perform well. In current report the importance of culture
difference has been discussed (Almond and Verba, 2015). The report will study why its
necessary of British people to understand the culture difference within Bangladesh while
conducting international business. It will provide with negotiable characteristic and relevant
theory in order to justify the difference (Thomas and Peterson, 2017).
Culture of Britain
The 90% of Britain population is consisted of people with Christian religion. They also
share same language that is English. In the country both type of communication style are used
that is direct communication and under statement (Dabić, Tipurić and Podrug, 2015).
Bangladeshi culture
The country have majority of Muslim population. The country has its own language and
many of the people has adopted Bangla as their daily language. Language has always been
considered as one of the biggest barrier that hindrance the growth of firm in international market
(Vaiman, and Brewster, 2015).
Why British need to be aware about the culture difference when doing business in Bangladesh ?
British has expanded its business in various country which has gained them much profit.
In current time its tapping at the door of Bangladesh. Bangladesh have English as their second
language which help British in settling their business (Ahammad and et. al., 2016). This lead to
bureaucratic burden creating hindrance in business. For e.g. Doing a business in clothing
industry can become difficult because of the taste and preference of the people however this
problem can be resolved with extensive market research so that needs and demand can be
understand (Burrows, 2015). By becoming aware of the various differences it can come up with
the way through which it can mitigate this differences and can work efficiently in this country.

The first difference is the structure of organisation, the people in Bangladesh has adopted tall
structure in their working while British believe in adopting flat structure as its effective in
increasing the employee involvement. For e.g. In Britain many companies such as Tesco. Aldi
etc. have adopted this structure believing that employee at lower level are more aware of the

effective in creating a negotiation between two ethnic groups and has also become important part
of today's business. It has made this difference on the basis of
Human nature: The human nature is one of the major area which differentiate one person from
another. The nature of people of British are friendly, they are very generous and polite in nature
that help them in their business. This characteristic help them in coordination and cooperating
with people in other countries.

friendly in nature. They believe that each person is equal and deserve respect. The same
philosophy has been accepted in the business where each employee is treated with equality
