INTRODUCTION
Present report is based upon the engineering and construction contractors which carries
the important rights in the construction business. As engineers play the active role in the business
regarding providing design and carry the responsibility to manage the interest of employees at
work place. Usually the construction business is mainly based on the technical drawing, maths,
geometry and majorly the experiences which they attained before dealing in any such projects
(Abdulai, Murphy and Thomas, 2019). This report carries the matters relating to expanding the
business into Australia, which is also one of the leading construction countries. In this, the
discussion is undertaken on the bases of examining the fundamental issues and also evaluating
the technical issues which arises at work place. Further, it results in providing various
recommendation to the company in respect of expanding the business overseas.

Fundamental issues:
The construction business is mainly based upon the innovation and creative concept
which is adapted by the engineer regarding retaining the customer needs for longer way. Thus,
the issues which is raised in the construction enterprises is relating to the open and effective
competitors in the business. As nowadays, customer are preferring more innovative ideas in the
business and thus focus is on getting air, water and electricity through the natural sources. Thus,
in such aspects, architecture and engineering are implementing such strategies to enhances the
customer needs in better way (Bason, 2017). Australia has seen the drastic change in respect of
their construction sector. Thus, issues raised regarding bringing new concept in the construction
business.
The another issues which is reflected is relating to maintaining committent at work place.
As the major conflict is raised between the contractors and sub contractors to attain the task with
the set norms. Thus, in respect of adapting the clear working polices and following all the norms,
this issues can be overcome in better manner (Gwizdak and Kartalligil, 2019). The another issues
which results in enhancing the competitive advantages in business is relating to the ethical
behaviours. As business is covered with different culture employees thus, it is necessary to
maintain ethics at work place by tratteing every employee in equal manner.

Evaluation of the technical issues:
In respect of understanding the matters relating to technical factors which is undertaken
by the construction contractor is relating to the carrying the adequate setting of camera or
sensors. As this is the major aspects which is carried by the contractors regarding managing the
employees at work place (Eze, Chinedu-Eze and Bello, 2019). Through this manner, they carry
the continuous check on the employees and also contain records of their daily working. In
respect of facing issues relating to not working of the camera, they not track the employee
records which results in not managing their day to day work in better way.
The another technical issues which is faced by the contractor in relating to safety issues.
As staff are attracted to such companies where they provide various safety equipment and also
the policies which results in paying good compensation in respect of facing any losses or
working in hazardous places (Daim and Faili, 2019). As the government of Australia are more
pre-cured about the safety of the employees working at dangerous places. Thus, in such manner
it results in bringing competitive advantages to UK contractors business regarding bringing more
innovative scheme to retain the employees needs in better way.
The major technical issues which is attaining in construction business is relating to
adapting the green house construction procedure. Australia is mainly adapting this concept and
thus, by these aspects, the issues is faced by the UK regarding enhancing such concept to retain
the customer needs towards the construction business (Aslan and Kumar, 2019). But the issues in
this aspect is relating to managing the water facility, as it requires lot of water to strength the
surface and structure of the building.
In context of evaluating the technical issues, machine break down is one of the major
issues which is faced in the construction business. As Australia is dealing in innovative concept
and thus they structure the building and complete the project before the set time period. In
respect of UK, it results in facing competition regarding not bringing innovation in the machine
or not advancing the technology to reduce the human efforts (Leow and Mao, 2017). Through
this manner, if the construction contractor adapts the latest technology to fulfil the needs of the
staff towards providing the innovative machines, it results in gaining major advantages to the
business.

Recommendation:
By viewing the above matters which results in enhancing the construction business to
operate the business internationally is relating to:
 Providing the safety equipment to the employees. As engineer nowadays are majorly
focusing on designing the building with the new concepts, thus lot of safety issues occurs
at work places and also they are putting their lives in danger (Competitiveness in
construction: a critical review of research, 2020). Thus, adequate compensation and
safety equipment are provided to secure their life in better way.
 Another factors to be recommended is relating to providing the outside training session.
As the engineer and contractor mainly examine the new trends through meeting new
people or viewing their innovative ideas to prepare the building. Thus, in such manner by
interacting with them or applying their concept in creative manner, results in gaining
more advantages to them.
 The another factors is to be recommended is relating to capturing the employees working
through the VR procedure. It results in keeping the workers safe and also monitoring
their activities through gaining longer term advantages in business (Misopoulos and et.al.,
2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above study, the report concludes the matters relating to examining various
factors which results in sustaining the position of the construction business in market. Engineer
carry they duty to use the geometry and maths to prepares the design which is as per the needs
and demands of the customers. The responsibility of the construction contracts is to assign the
day to day task so that they manage the employees work in right manner. By examining the
various recommendation points, it helps the business to operate globally with high ratio of
success in construction business.
