The report includes the happenings and the articles related to various cases of crimes all
over the world. It will include the methodology regarding the selection of articles for the report
as well as overview of both articles being chosen in the report. It will hold the discussion
regarding the articles and arrive at appropriate conclusion for the same.
METHODOLOGY
PRECISE OF THE FIRST ARTICLE
Car theft in UK- Around 47000 of the Car theft where been recorded till the march ending of
2019 in England and Wales. These offenses turn out to be in the highest number till today. Car
theft involves use of a various instrument to steal someone car either from parking or from their
house ( Houghton, 2015).As per the Section 2- 6 of theft Act 1968, a person is not allowed to
steal someone car at any public place. London has been recorded as he most number of offenses
that includes 169 over 100,00 population as in 2018/19. Also, there have been several cases of
homicides as well including the stealing car related crimes that poses to the number of 285.
PRECISE OF THE SECOND ARTICLE
Rise in Key less car theft in UK- As per the crime survey for England and Wales in March 2017
as around 45 % rise in reported thefts since 2014, before which there had been a 6 year decline in
crimes. In 2017/18 alone, 112,174 vehicles were stolen. This means each day 307 cars were
stolen ( Houghton, 2015). This kind of Theft occurred when a owner has locked a keyless car.
Criminals uses signal relay devices widely so that they can easily trick the car by thinking
correct key present and also through amplifying its signal as soon as possible. All it takes a touch
of button and start the engine and derives away. Summer holidays are considered to be prime
time for the thieves so it is crucial to protect vehicles specially this season. A person can used
Faraday's bag that is highly effective regarding for stopping thieves and also amplifying the
key's signal. Conducted Fabric mesh is lined through it that stops the car key's fob's signals
(digital) that able to hit the outside place within one time (Light. and et.al., 2013 )
CONCLUSION AND DISCUSSION
Various measures have been introduced by the UK government in order to improve the
car theft and other offenses in the country. Modifications has been made in Section 2- 6 of theft
Act 1968, to stop a person from stealing a car and imposing a fine of 5000. The act includes
