It has been identified that in 2017-2018 the number of higher
institution in the UK that returned data to the high education
statistics agency.
Presentation is base on the statistics of student which studying
higher education in UK.
Further slides will be cover about the topic and relevant data and
statistical information on the selected topic. Aim of the research is
to examine the data for the growth in the number of students in
higher education in the UK.
Present study is outline the information with the help of gathering

reduced by the 34,000 students. This is the reason to conduct this study to
explore the importance of higher education system with having high
promotional growth. As according to the data of 2017-2018 highest number of
registration has been done from past ten years on postgraduates taught courses
in 2016-2017. as according to the National student survey it has been
published in 2019 it has been found that 84% of students were satisfied with
the quality if their course. Also it is most challenging task which effectively
managed that following task and effective goals in different objective manner.

The main reason to conduct this study is to regulate and

In UK study normally enters in higher education as an under-
graduate form 18 years of age and student can study wide variety of
academic and vocational qualifications.
It also includes the certificates of higher education as well as
higher national certificates.
There has been increase in number of higher education students in
UK there are more than 164 higher education institutions in UK and
number of students are increasing day by day.
In UK higher education is going under a significant change and
this change is being driven by various factors like social factors,
cultural factors, technological, political and economic factors.
These are the factors which have an affect on every aspect of
university provision and the environment in which universities
operates.
. It has been analysed that growth in higher education is majorly
seen by social factors which has become a major contributor for
growth in higher education. Higher education trends in UK are
emerging which is giving rise to number of students perceiving
higher education. Also, new social trends are opening new ways or
approaches in the higher education. There has been innovations in
the ways of providing post secondary education, ways of financing
them. Another social factor which has given rise to higher education
UK is that online education is becoming increasingly accepted
option where a student can easy study materials and learn new
things with out spending extra money on it. Also, enrolment has
increased for seeking higher education online. Also, students wants
to perceive higher education for securing its future and get a better
job in the future. Students believe that by achieving higher
education they are able to face various challenges of making their
future much more secure and can increase their knowledge and
skills. Also, no one in UK wants to be less educated for which they
are achieving higher education and this has resulted in growth of
students in higher education. Besides another major factor which
has resulted in growth is that higher education has continued its
growth and investment which has been made by government and
various other agencies in UK. So all these factors have resulted in
increased the growth of number of students in higher education in
UK.

CONCLUSION

various aspect perspective of student towards the
higher education system.

REFERENCES
It can be interpreted that 1st degree courses has been the most
popular type of higher education in UK. But the enrolments on
other types of under-graduate courses has continuously felt down.
Also, postgraduate courses which are being taught in UK has seen
increase in first year students in recent years. Within the year 2016
and 2017, postgraduate students got loans from England which
helped students in seeking higher education. It can also be
interpreted that in the year 2017 and 2018 rise in higher education
was significantly due to increase in number of Non-European Union
students in UK.
Above table interprets that out total higher education students in
57% of them are female and it can also be analysed that year-on-
year there was a decline in number of students aged 30 year as
number of young people has grown over the years 2013 and 2014.
It can also be analysed that there has been decline in number of
part-time students the reason behind this is that number of full-time
students in UK has increased since the year 2014 and 5015. Also,
number of students in higher education has increased which are
aged 20.

RESULTS
It can be interpreted form the above table that there as been a rapid
growth on higher education in UK due to rising demand of higher
education. The rise of demand has been coupled with number of
contrarians like public funding which has given rise in higher
education in UK. Also, there has been certain increase in regulation
of supply of various places for decreasing the costs which has
reflected in increase of full time postgraduate acceptances between
2008 and 2010 admission cycles
From the above table it can be interpreted that in UK there has been
increase in number of postgraduates taught qualification and this
number has reached to highest point in 10 years. This is sign for
growth of higher education in the country and this number has
increased in recent years which has increased enrolments
postgraduate taught course within the year 2016 and 2017. It can
also be analysed that number of first degree qualification is also
increasing each year and is expected to increase over the years.
Also, it can be analysed that postgraduate research has been
stagnant over the years.
