ESSAY
United Kingdom has been reputed for the excellent quality of education, top ranked
universities, interactive teaching method and high degree of student satisfaction. The education
system within the UK is categorically bifurcated into 4 main parts which mainly includes
primary, secondary, further and higher education. In United Kingdom, schools are either state
schools which in turn are free and has been funded by the government. The other are
independent schools which charges stipulated amount of fees. Scholarships to the state schools
can be given to students from European Union (Hameed and Umer, 2017). The children in
United Kingdom have to legally attend the secondary and the primary education which runs from
5 yearns till the child becomes 16 years old. At the first stage, students between 5 to 7 years are
included. They gain basic knowledge on the subjects like English language, Physical Education,
Mathematics, History, History, Geography and Music. At the second stage, students between 7 to 11
years are included. Core subjects like English grammar, science and mathematics is taught. At the
third stage, students between 11 to 14 years are included. All core subjects are learned at this stage.
Forth stage is the last stage where national assessment test has been undertaken.
The student has to pursue General Certificate of Secondary Education and after the
student complete GCSE they have choice to go on for further education and then also attain
potential set of higher education. However, universities in United Kingdom has been ranked in
the top ranked universities in world. Degrees which has been earned from the school and
universities of UK are globally recognized and are preferred by the employers of the company
across the world. The qualification framework of the UK has a principal national reference point
which is useful in maintaining the high degree of academic standards in higher education UK
(Seeber and et.al., 2019). The quality assurance agency is an independent body which assesses
and also compares the colleges and universities in UK through regular reviews and auditing. This
is useful in examining the best possible education practice and also focuses on providing
feedback for specific areas of improvement. This is prominent in ensuring that, students have
access to the premium quality of education within UK.
Higher education within UK mainly comprise of the bachelors, masters and doctoral
degrees. The international student van also study at theses universities via pathway programs
which includes foundation course and English language test (Education system in the UK, 2020).
However, the undergraduate course has been designed to effectively help students in order to get

exposure to whole new set of world after school by offering variety set of courses in social
science, humanities, business, technology, finance, arts, design, etc. Range of postgraduate
programs which tends to involve in- depth degree of study related to the subject of your interest.
These plethora of courses are highly valued within this industry (Marques and Powell, 2019).
However, the education system of UK is highly significant and is valued across the world.
