In the United Kingdom, higher education institutions are either degree-awarding
(known as universities and colleges) or non-degree awarding (known as listed
organizations) but offer bridge courses for entry into a degree-awarding program.
Students should always contact their host institution immediately to establish the
specific nature and contents of their proposed programme of study.

• In the United Kingdom, an engaging and effective teaching technique is used,
which is not used in Romania, and which enables students to express
themselves freely and engage in classes. These two countries have a distinct
system of compulsory schooling. Romanian obligatory education lasts ten
years, while the one in the United Kingdom lasts eleven. Children begin
school at the age of six or seven years old and attend the primary school for
ten years. They must take a large exam called the National Exam at the end of
primary school, which is based on assessments from the previous four years.
Depending on their grades, kids will attend secondary school (high school).
