AC 2.1 Assess (from a country perspective) the statutory
regulations that will affect facilities operations in an
agreed context (Ex. UK hospitality industries).

 Regarding Business name: In hospitality industry, Hotel name
are selected according to Business name act 1985. According to
this act that business name should not be on owner's name.
There should be a proper notice provided by owner.
 Licensing norms for food hygiene: Hygienic food are the first
priority for the hospitality industry. So license are required for
hotelier regarding food safety.

 Fire regulation: Hospitality sector are required to have a
proper arrangement for fire regulation. It includes proper
exit gate and its visual sign should be available, fire alarm
should be installed.
 Alcohol regarding norms: There should be a proper
licensing regarding alcohol usage. In this case pub and
alcohol facilities are arranged according to norms.

 Regarding advertisement: While generating advertisement in this
industry, any misleading content are strictly prohibited. Sales and
promotion facilities made available to people should not be
misleading which manipulate the interest of potential guest
regarding price, Like change in price without any prior information
to customer.
 Regarding data: personal data are managed on computers and must
be revealed to the customer in need. Those should be notifies form
the Data protraction Commissioner.

 Safety measure: Hotel must implement the safety measure for
guest, customer and staff as well. Proper fire alarm and CCTV
cameras must be installed for safety. Proper exit gate are made
designed in a way that in a emergency situation easily access can
be done by all. Gas safety are also ensured by the hotel
management.

 Environmental measures: Hotels have to ensured about
facilities provided by them is environmental friendly.
Hilton hotel are providing that product which don't harm
the people and environment as well. Proper waste
management, proper utilization of natural resources should
be insured such as optimum utilization of electricity and
water.

AC 2.3 Discuss the documentation required to account
for compliance with statutory regulations and health,
safety and environmental measure.
Facilities management of hotels must implement the measures
specially for health, safety and environment. For that statutory
compliance of various law is must so that quality can be ensured
with respect to services/product provided in hotel industry.
Documentation are required to account for compliance with statutory
regulation in hospitality industry. Hotels have to submit data and
document of compliance time to time. By this specific Authority
make sure about the quality and norms compliance.

 While licensing for alcohol, document submission are done and
fees are paid after showing the whole proof regarding hotel and
business activity and sources.
 In health and safety aspect, all information about the health
check up cycle, numbers of doctor appointed, numbers of
camera and fire alarm installed in premises etc.

 In Environmental measures, document for environmental
friendly product declaration regarding usage are submitted.
 In general paper and document are handled at daily basis as
operating working sheet, various application, records of
employees, invoices, cash sheets, cash and sales reports etc.
With this they have ti maintain electronic data and files such
as MS excel, Word etc.
