INTRODUCTION
United Kingdom is one of the most powerful countries all over the world and has been
developing its legal and parliamentary structure from very long time. The country is able to
attain its position by working upon both internal and external structure. Also United Kingdom
has set certain goals and objectives in relation to society with its development. The country has
grown in terms of economic, political and social aspects covered in society. Further, United
Kingdom has been operating with European Union as its members that has helped over
improving conditions of United Kingdom from various aspects. Then as UK decided to quit from
EU and form an agreement known as Brexit. This made UK faced various kinds of problems and
atrocities which hindered growth of UK. These concepts has been discussed in relation to UK
within the reports by covering various aspects in it.

again be free to make its own laws, post the Brexit Transition period. Some argue that the UK’s
parliamentary sovereignty was indeed undermined by the EU and that the UK has finally got
back its independence. It is likely that the UK will regret Brexit.”

as members which helped them in developing business with strong network. Further, EU has
made creation possible over effective rules and regulations based over enhancing structure of

is based upon activities taking place within United Kingdom. The aim of European Union makes

borders, while also taking appropriate measures at its external borders to regulate asylum and
immigration and prevent and combat crime. European Union has made over arrangements done
for helping upon making internal market established effectively (Robinson, 2022). Through
sustainable development create employment opportunities helping over balancing economic
growth by creating price stability with competitiveness within market helping over creating
employment opportunities making social progress accomplished. This progress makes society
developed in positive direction making balance created within society of United Kingdom. This
has helped over developing technology and scientific means over membered countries making
then advance through industrial revolution. EU has helped in solving social issues which makes
justice served in more effective way. It makes issues solved with more effectiveness making
discrimination eradicated within UK. It has lead UK to develop its legal structure by introducing
doctrine of septation of power which made three organs of legal system identified which are
legislative, executive and judiciary. The concept of social justice has been developed with the
help of common law principles making problems related to protection, equality between women
and men, and protection of the rights of the child solved more effectively.
EU has made promotion done of diversity within United Kingdom helping in making
cultural norms improved more efficiently. EU has aimed in order to monitor economic activities
within country. EU lead upon making wider range of problems covered as per interest within
society. This is based over making growth of UK attained more effectively which makes fair
trade practices promoted for making trade conducted on large scale. EU helped in making
transparency formed by protecting human rights in UK. It has lead towards making strict
observation performed that human rights are not violated under any circumstances. Also human
rights become important part of UK as it passed legislative law regarding its protection as per
UN's guidelines. Further, values and rules formed by EU made moral perspective covered within
UK making law relevancy proved more effectively. EU has make sure that fair trade is practised
between EU members. It made enactment possible within international laws of United Kingdom
making protection provided to trade Union by solving there issues pertaining to trade
perspectives.
EU has enshrined different values helping in forming Human dignity based over forming
norms and values regarding ethical code of conduct. This makes professionalism developed

within corporate and public sector of UK. EU has ensured that an individuals dignity is protected
by allowing freedom based upon making an individual's free moving rights created in relation to
movement and speech within member countries of EU. Democracy is another part which has
been developed in UK by European Union and is used in order to provide growth related to
political culture in UK(Steele, 2022). Under political system voting is done for selecting
candidates representing within European Parliament. EU has given right to vote to its citizens
which helped in making parliamentary proceedings. In the case of Matthews V United
Kingdom the national resident in Gibraltar has allege breach of her right to free elections over
account of fact that election of European Parliament were nit held in Gibraltar. The Court
reiterated that the European Convention on Human Rights did not exclude the transfer of
competences to international organisations provided that Convention rights continued to be

universal suffrage and court specified that United Kingdom apply relevant provisions of Article

In 2016 referendum of U.K voted to leave EU and Brexit has been challenged many
times and then on Jan. 31, 2020 official deceleration has been made upon Brexit. This resulted in
forming of agreement which is known as Brexit. This makes United Kingdom face various
challenges at initial stage UK's government reconstructed its legal structure. Also trade policies
of UK were amended which makes business function in effective manner(Yeh and Zoeckler,
2022). Brexit made end of free movement and take back control over UK borders which is
placed over introducing point based immigration system focused upon skills of workers has
been developed within UK. This made UK welcome thousands of workers with skills over needs
of country to support domestic labour market during pandemic time. Restored domestic control
over law making process Brexit has given power for amending law back to UK parliament and
no EU members can interfere within it. Restoration of UK's judicial system and making Supreme
Court the first and final court , then comes High Court which is second and so on. It made the
hierarchy of court maintained within UK. Also Brexit made it tougher for EU criminals enter in
UK when they have been sentenced by EU. This means EU criminals is treated like foreign

criminal. This means that all laws including EU within has been changed or barred from entering
in UK.
It can be observed from the above discussion that Brexit has brought positive change
within UK helping over enhancing legal structure by making it less complex in nature. So, it can
be observed that basic fundamental rights has been barred to UK's citizens and not to EU country
members.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it can be concluded that EU has helped in making United
Kingdom uplifted from the time of World WAR II by making UK develop different aspect in
relation to its over all growth. It has mainly contributed towards protecting human rights. Brexit
brought positive changes within UK and made its amend its structure by excluding EU from it.
