maintain discipline in a society. There are various elements that has to be used for making law
and also proper process is followed by parliament to form the law. Every country is having own
process of law making. In this file process of law making and functions of both houses is
covered, then Fisher V Bell case is to be covered. In the end various skills is being covered and
reflection is to be explained.

Describe the role of two houses that helps in law making in UK
Parliament is the highest authority that has helped in forming law within a country like
UK. It consists of two houses which are House of Lords and House of Commons. Bill is
considered to be that document which has to be presented in front of houses. Later on this house
becomes bill. There are three kinds of bill Public, private and Member bill. These are been
explained as Public Bill will affect the entire country or a larger portion of it. Private Members
Bill this is being prepared by backbench MP1. They are to be entered in a ballot to win the right
to do so. They then have to persuade the government to allow enough parliamentary time for the
bill to go through. Private Bill this type of bill are usually proposed by a local authority, public
corporation or large public companies. The process that has been followed in law making of UK
is been explained as follows:
First Reading: As per this only the bill and its title is being presented and overview of the bill is
readied within House of Commons. No discussion of any kind takes place over bill presented.
