Introduction
In the present day, travel and tourism sector is considered as one of the most emerging trends as
well as revenue generation sector across the globe. This sector helps to generate a significant
amount of revenue along with profit for the nation. Most of the people have travelled here and
there for leisure purposes, works or treatment. Therefore, the overall conditions (e.g. social,
political and financial) of that place are greatly influenced through this sector.
This assignment is based on identification and analysis of the most leading tourist’s destination
inside UK (London and Paris) in accordance with the traveller’s profile, revenue generation and
other aspects and based on that analysis, the prediction of future trends are also discussed in this
study. A proper identification of social, cultural and physical aspects of the chosen UK tourist’s
destination and a proper comparison with another overseas tourist’s destination are also provided
below. The last part of this assignment includes an investigation of financial and political
characteristics of chosen tourist’s destination and their impact on financial and political
characteristics and the way the UK destination might be able to emphasize over “responsible
tourism” are also described below.

visitor in Paris (Eiffel tower), whereas in the similar year in London (London Eye), there were 34
million of visitor. In case of revenue generation, it has also been identified in that similar year
the near about £ 30.3 Billion revenue are generated in Paris, where as £ 29.8 Billion revenue
were generated in London. Through the above comparison, it can be stated effectively that Paris

as holds the leading position in travel and tourism sector in UK.
