Data Analysis of Suicide Rates and Mental Health Problems in the UK

This report analyzes suicide rates in the UK, focusing on the relationship between mental health problems and suicide attempts among males and females in England and Wales. The methodology includes secondary data collection and quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The analysis reveals no direct correlation between age and mental health, while highlighting that male suicide rates are higher than female rates. Summary of introduction, aim and objectives
 The purpose of the project is to analyse the concerns regarding to identify the
suicide rate of males and females facing mental health problems in UK. The
purpose of the project and the topic helped in analysing the key points and the
statistics and data of both males and females in UK particularly England and
Wales at large scale (Gordon, 2020, 115. p). The aim and objectives were also
identified and mentioned which were regarding to identify the concerns of mental
health problems of males and females attempting suicide. The objectives were
also framed which helped in understanding the concept of mental health. Along
with this, the major objective which was framed was considered as recommending
the strategies so that the mental health problems in UK can be solved (Appleby
and et.al., 2019, p. 366). This helped in creating value regarding the aspects
related to solving the issue and addressing the issue which the males and females
are facing in England and Wales.

Summary of methodology
 The methodology which was analysed and described was regarding the process
through which the data is collected and addressed. This included data preparation,
results, research methodology in appropriate manner and this helped in knowing
the concern related to collecting the data which was secondary and the
quantitative data was collected with the help of descriptive statistics in detailed
manner (Iacobucci, 2020, p.11). . The research methodology was being analysed
and appropriately measured by analysing the type of data and the method which
was used within the project in significant manner ( Rinjit, 2020, p. 22). This
helped in analysing the concerns regarding the perspectives regarding the analysis
of the methods and the data being prepared in significant manner. This is the basic
concern which is regarding the topic which was being addressed for identifying
the data and the sample which is involved within the research.

Summary of data analysis and collection
 Data analysis
 The techniques of analysing and examining the data that has been gathered in order to form
necessary observations and conclusion can be referred to as the process of data analysis.
 The techniques of data analysis can be bifurcated into three major heads, namely, thematic
perception test technique, SPSS and quantitative analysis ( Rinjit, 2020, p. 22).
 Data collection
 The method of gathering information and statistics that is linked with the study is known as
the method of data collection.
 There are majorly two methods of data collection which includes secondary and primary
research.
 Secondary research makes use of data collected using secondary sources such as websites,
books, journals, and other relevant sources of information.

 From the data calculated, it has been identified that the mental health of an
individual has nothing to do with their age and there is no statistical significance
between the age of the people and their mental health (Zangirolami-Raimundo,
Echeimberg and Leone, 2018, 28(3). pp).
 This can be stated because, it has been noticed in the data gathered that a
significant number of individuals has been dealing with mental illness. However,
all of them are scattered into different age groups and genders (Bould, and et.al,
2019, 394(10193). pp).

Summary of project management
 The project management is the process which helps in understanding the concerns
regarding the project plan, project collaboration and learning reflection which was
collected and the information which was gathered in appropriate and significant
manner. This helped in analysing the concern regarding preparation of the project
plan with the help of timeline which was being provided for knowing the different
tasks which were being done analysed and identified in different manner (Säfsten
and Gustavsson, 2020, p. 22). It constituted the tasks which were completed in
weeks and it took 6 weeks to accomplish the whole project on time in appropriate
and significant manner. This helped in also understanding the aspects related to
creating valuable results and reflection based while working within the team in
significant manner (Pandey and Pandey, 2021, p.43). This is the whole summary
which has been identified for the project to be completed.

CONCLUSION
 From the research, it can be concluded that there is no relevant relationship
between the age group of the individuals and their mental health issues. The
current study depicts a statistical analysis of the information and statistical figures
that have been collected that are linked with the mental health issues of people in
UK. Moreover, it has been determined that the number suicides attempted by the
males due to the mental health issue are higher than number of death in females.
