attract and get a maximum number of visitors. Some of them are as below:
Need-based Maslow theory: theory of Maslow describes that every type of tourist have different
needs and the same should be fulfilled in a proper order so that a visitor can find the fulfillment of his
desire (Yiamjanya, et.al. 2014). Maslow states that the needs of tourists should be classified in a
hierarchy system and basic needs should be fulfilled before the main purpose. For example, a tourist
always likes to be assured about safety issues before starting his traveling.
Equity theory: Equity theory measures the benefits provided by a visitor attraction and states that
only rewards are the main motivation for the visitors and they like to visit those places which provide
more comfort and reward to them for their monetary and non-monetary efforts (Leong, et.al. 2014).
For example, an Academic visitor with the purpose of the historical study would like to visit the
British Museum instead of a theme park because the museum is the more rewardable site for him.
Theory of responsible tourism: theory of responsible tourism is based on environmental and social
safety issues which are focused to the proper management of visitor attractions so that negative
impact of tourism on visitor attractions can be minimized (Madden, et.al. 2016). It is focused on four
