 Mercy Corps is a global humanitarian, non-
governmental organization operating in
transitional contexts, undergoing social,
political, environmental, economic
instabilities.
 The mission statement of the organization
includes diminishing poverty, oppression and
poverty by helping people to be productive,
build security.
 The organization is doing agriculture related
programs , other development programs to
provide people with the support and tools to
transform their lives for a better future. They
operate the PROSPECT program to improve
the lives of Liberian youth. They have
programs to deliver micro-financial services
to the society for sustainable economic
growth. The SAFE program ensures the
accessibility of education to the young girls.
 The company operates in 38 countries
including Central African Republic,
Afghanistan, Somalia and Myanmar.
Contribution to the Common Good
 The organization has already provided
4billiion dollar for lifesaving assistance for
39 years.
 They have build homes for the refugees, for
the homeless mothers who dreams of a
stable future of her children.
 The organization responded immediately to
the Syria crisis and also to Nepal.
 The emergency responders work through
conflict in places like Gaza, Yemen, South
Sudan.
 Mercy corps implemented the Education in
Nepal for Marginalized Girls’.
 It has created tool kits that encourages
education for disabilities and children.

 I can help the organization with my
interpersonal skills by negotiating with
individuals and institutes for donation.
 I can also help the organization with my
decision-making skills.
 I can also help the organization by providing
educational guidance to the children who need
it.
 I can also help the organization by volunteering
by giving monetary benefits.
