especially girls who are about to reach puberty. It
has been seen that in most countries, girl child are
neglected and mostly undernourished compared to
their male siblings.
• As a nurse, it is my duty to provide patient-centred
care and to treat them to a partner, capable of
making a decision and is actively participated in
their journey to better health.
• Raising awareness is also an aspect of my
profession. It is seen that sometimes people have
bizarre health beliefs that do not allow them to
maintain their health. It is essential to raise
awareness among the general public so that they
are more concerned about their health. This way
people can take a step on their own to maintain
their health.
