Art history.
Introduction
Art history mainly involves the studying of objects involved in the art within their
historical development. In other words, art history involves making one familiar with the history
that is usually involved in art.The objects involved in the study of this art history mainly involves
the design of art, a genre in which a particular art is involved in the style and finally the format.
The study will mainly involve painting, architecture, sculpture, ceramics, furniture many other
objects mainly involved in the decoration of the art (Broude, 2018).
Art history will also involve the studying of different groups of people and the various
cultures through which they represent in their art. For example, people may compare the
renaissance art to medieval art. This history of different cultures will often show in their art
through various forms .art can be manifested through ways like architecture, attire, religion, or at
times sports. It can also be manifested in a more visual way like the use of drawings, paintings
and at times sculptures (Efland, 2017).
My academic goals involve studying art history as well as art to the highest level
possible. Art is a great way of expressing one's self and as a result, I have always been fascinated
with art. The way various artists are able to express their ideas, emotions onto a particular piece
of art.I being an artist myself I intend to learn more about art hence improving my understanding
and take on art .studying art may help me understand and appreciate art more. my intellectual
goals involve making people understand art more .this would mean better appreciation of artists.
Many artists are not given credit for the amazing work that they do. I want to try and devise a

way through which we would improve this industry and help nature new talent and grow the art
industry too (Vansina, 2014).
Art history is very important because through art we are able to connect to the world, art
also helps us connect to our roots which include our history. Art is also important because
through art we are able to connect to various people and various cultures as well .art history also
helps us connect with our own experiences and feelings .however over the recent years art
history has been faced by a huge crisis. The crisis involves many factors .the main ones,
however, include issues like change of museum audiences, shifts in trends of scholarship, the
graduate school curricula (Wölfflin, 2012). There has also been a great loss of interest by both
the general public and the student's as well.
Conclusion.
For art to be successful it requires passion and commitment. I particularly have a great
passion for art. This began a long time ago, art has always been part of me. I, therefore, feel
obligated to make art better by first solving the crisis involved in art history. We definitely have
to make our museums better to fit their audience. We also have an obligation to bring back
strong culture through educating our students on the importance of withholding strong art
history. That would be a good start in improving the art.
