INTRODUCTION
Business functions is a set of definite activities that helps to operate day to day activities
within an organisation. It includes roles of different departments to accomplish the common
objectives. It can be performed by employees as well as management to achieve their goal in
business organisation (Carlo, 2019). For example Unilever of United Kingdom is using various
academic skills to influence output of their business functions.

performing different functions like staffing, motivating and managing their employees. It also
contributes in business's profitability and efficiency to operate in the competitive market.

objectives in relation to their own sectors. These objectives combined to gain organisational
goals in competitive market.
