 The objective of the learning is to understand the rights
of children and importance of the children's specific
rights.

Rationale
 Early years learning framework promote children welfare and establish many rights regarding the children for
their physical and mental growth. Early Childhood Australia (ECA) has released some statements to support
and prevent the rights of young children.
 Apart from right to education, there are many other rights for the children that every person should consider in
order to treat them better. The rights includes, the right to be heard, freedom from violence, abuse, and
neglect, the opportunity to thrive, engaged civics and citizenship, rights of action and accountability.
 After Second World War, It is believed to be important to take some measures to bring peace to the world and
to effectively remove all the threats to save upcoming generation from the danger of the war.

 It provide an opportunity to discuss sensitive political matters, offers
opportunities for the optimal development by ensuring safety for the children
and contribute to shaping up their future in an appropriate manner.
 Then UN Convention on the Rights of the Child has set some principles to
establish the rights of children and make them aware about their rights

 The motive behind the purpose of education is to make children literate so
that they can question about their root of social justice and empower to
uphold the human rights.

Learning outcome
 Establishment of children's right was a good decision because through this, the children are able to get
aware of their rights regarding the participation in different programmes.
 The children able to recognise their rights to full potential, through education, information, regarding health
care and participation in society.
 These rights protect the children from abusive actions and violence. All children, whether a girl or a boy
should have given the same rights and equal opportunities to grow and enjoy the life with adequate
standards.
 Child rights may be classified as, Survival, Development, Protection, and Participation. It has been evident
from the history that children suffered the most through hunger and homelessness.

 The Charter of Child Rights confers the following basic rights for the children across the world includes,
Right to Survival, Right to Development, Right to Protection, and Right to Participation.
 The Right to Survival ensures the right to lead a healthy life . Under this right, the children are access to take
healthy nutrition and provide a quality healthcare for their healthy mental and physical state.
 For families who are not economically sufficient enough to provide proper nutrition to their child, a special
scheme has been introduced for them by registering the children's name and allow them to access the
nutritional diet for better development and admit their children to the centres who avail facilities for children
in early phase to grow, learn, develop skills and get access to a better and nutritional life .

considered as legal crime and any compromises are not considered.

 Children's right are mainly violated through a aggregation of complex activity.
 The Convention on the rights of the child is responsible for human rights treaty in history. The UN
Convention says that childhood is a phase which is separate from the adulthood.
 It is said to be the special protected time in which the children must be allowed to learn, grow, play and
develop their skills by flourishing with dignity and pride in their personal lives.
 Non-discrimination with best of the children's interests, and the rights to their survival and development are
the major resources of the children's rights. The views of the child also matters a lot in the growth of the of
the child and their future life.

Preparation of learning experience
 These rights implies the necessities to protect them. That grants specific assistance
to children and to provide protection and safety that is adapted to their age and
their degree of maturity and understanding.
 So, the children have to be aided and supported and must be safeguarded against
the exploitation of the labours, children's kidnapping and ill treatments etc.
 Sexual education should be introduced for children in schools, punishments should
be made compulsory for not abiding the children right laws and regulations that
are implemented for the children in schools (Durrant and et. al., 2020).

Evaluation of learning experience
 The healthy development of children is very crucial for the future well- being of any
kind of society. As we that for a child, it is a developing period , they are specially
vulnerable more than any adult, and have a poor living conditions which includes the
poverty, inadequate health care and not proper nutrition, safe water and proper housing
and related environmental pollution are their basic and fundamental rights to living and
they should be provided with all dignity and respect in the society they are living
(Montgomery, 2018).
 From the evaluation of learning experiences, a child rights treaty sets out the civil,
political and their economic and social with health and cultural rights are protected with
more of attention giving their personal development and growth.

Further learning: Where to next
 Survival rights of the child should be implemented so that the child feels
safe in their society. Developmental rights of the individual child should be
provided to them to enhance their growth in the society and to benefit the
nation with their knowledge and skills.
 Protection rights are the fundamental rights of the child that enhances their
safety and security. Participation rights in plays and acts on different
platforms without any discrimination should be looked after efficiently to
stop their rights violation (Peleg, 2019).
