INTRODUCTION
The concept of disability disparities refers to a discrimination when an individual
having disability is treated less as well as can be put at a disadvantage for a reason such as
their disability. In health and social care, the disability disparities generally occurs when the
care managers are covered with the disability Act, as amended can treats a care worker or a
patient unfavourably just because they have disability. In this report, it will cover the three
main cause of having inequalities among disability that has been chosen such as
discrimination and along with their solutions so that the disparities can be reduced. The report
can cover the role of social care organization that can effectively contribute to reduce the
disparities of disabled people across society (Disability discrimination, 2020).
MAIN BODY
Having disability among people is quite normal but how other people can treat
towards a particular disability may vary. There are various causes of having disparities of
disability among people in case of discrimination such as there can be a social and cultural
barrier, lack of inclusions, lack of accommodation, unemployment, poverty and many more
that can effectively contribute towards the disability inequalities. In context with social and
cultural barriers, these are generally the man-made constructs that are specifically originating
from the social norms as well as the cultural values. For disabled people, the barriers involve
an adverse impact on the information that is seeking by restricting access towards the
information sources as well as providing rise to the negative emotions. In this, poverty is
specifically linked with undernutrition, an inadequate access towards the public well-being
services, reduced living conditions as well as an exposure to the unsafe environment which
can generally lead towards the inappropriate well-being conditions that results in disability
inequalities. As poverty can effectively enhances the possibilities of disabilities (5 Common
Causes of Disability Discrimination, 2014).
Proposed solutions: In order to reduce the discrimination disparities of disability among
people, it specifically needs a transformative change. In this, the greater efforts are generally
required to eradicate the extreme hunger and poverty. Major efforts can be made more in
well-being, education, and social protection that can help to overcome the discrimination
among disabled people. Having an adequate amount of education can help the disabled
people to reduce the discrimination among disabled people and can improve their well-being
more effectively.

Social care organization: While providing support to disabled people, the social care sectors
can play a key role in this. Through having social support such as government funded
programs and services can effectively encourage the disabled people with disability support
services to improve their daily livings and enhance their life more positively (People with
disability in Australia, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it is concluded that disability among people can be overcome
more efficiently. This can be done with having support from various sectors such as social
care sectors which provide support from government funded programs and services that
positively encourages the disabled people with effective care services. It can help the disabled
people to perform their daily activities in order to make them independent.
