Introduction
The workforce of a company is its lifeblood to perform well in their current business
market and in accordance with this fact, this report is related to the discussion on the motivation
and factors which keeps employees motivated in an organization (Markina and et.al., 2019).
Motivation is crucial for any person to attain their targets, it focuses on using the best of human
resources and also make employees efficient. A motivated employee is important for an
organization to achieve its objective and to maintain stability. It also discusses the factors which
results in experience of the employees in an organization in a positive and negative way.

Motivation is a process to affect someone which helps in achieving their desired goals.
Humans have some basic needs to be fulfilled in order to keep them motivated. These basic
needs are related to their salary, clothes, home, health, financial security and some needs are
related to emotions, love, relations and friends. An employee gets motivation from inside by
doing jobs of their own interest, getting achievements and recognition at work place and on the
other hand they also get motivated by receiving good pay, appreciation and recognition at work
place (Johari and Jha, 2020).

Salary: Salary is an important factor which affects the working of the employees at workplace
and helps in motivating them. By having a job which has high salary, employees get motivated
to perform in a better manner and this increases their value in the eyes of the company. Salary
is one of the biggest motivators as it is the first consideration of people while applying for a job.
Promotion: It provides employees the sense of achievement by giving them more
responsibilities and opportunities to prove them. If companies do not provide any promotion to
the employees then they will feel irritate and will lose their interest towards the job. On the other,
giving them chance to grow instead of staying at same position will improve their working habits,
this also provide them job security.
Work Environment: It has direct impact on the working of the employees as it affects their
productivity, skills, ideas to do new things. A good surrounding allows employees to work at

The factors which gives employees and keep them loyal towards the organization is
given below-
Friendly Environment- In an organization it is important to have good working
environment because employees feel valued and can share their problems knowing
that they care about them and also increase the team spirit which helps in increasing
the morale of the employees. A friendly environment helps to improve the mental health
and make employees to feel better about themselves.
Appreciation from colleagues and seniors- An employee should get praised by their
superiors as well as their colleagues as this will raise their confidence and they will feel
more positive. By getting appreciated, employees feel that the work they do for their
company is important and it makes them work harder and this helps push their
productivity and performance levels. Positive job roles which include constant sources
of appreciation help build a motivated workforce (Reizer, Brender-Ilan and Sheaffer,
2019).
Balance between personal and work life- Employees needs to balance their life at
work place and at individual level, it helps in decreasing their tension, they need to

Although there are positive factors associated with job roles and descriptions, there are
also many negatives which can be found in many companies where employees are suffering.
Some of the negative factors which employees experience as the result of their job roles are
listed herein and the reason is working environment is not good , bad management, workplace
conflicts,gossips and other factors and these factors effect the company's reputation and its
growth.
Worry about the future- This is the most common factor which affects the employee
performance nowadays as most of the people suffer with anxiety disorders or anticipatory fear
as they always think about future outcomes which they have never experienced before. To
overcome this fear manager need to address the negative thought of their workers and try to
resolve it (Babaeinesami, 2019).
Lack of managers support- If the manager are not supporting their employees or not giving
any advise to solve the problem then it will effect the employees negatively as their
performance will dwindle and they will not give their hundred percent to the organization and
will also feel unsatisfied with their job
Bad working environment- If the employees do not feel any seance of acceptance or
belonging it will effect their work and mind as they will also feel alone and isolated as every one
loves social interactions. Managers need to provide safe working conditions, encourage the
workers to keep pushing forward in a holistic manner and prevent them from getting harassed at
