INTRODUCTION
It is very much essential for an organization to focus on analyzing why
employees work and provide them fair working conditions (Cohen, 2018). The
development of a company depends upon its employees, so it is important for an
organization to focus on their needs and wants. In the recent times, human resource
management is considered as major body of an organization which helps a business
to manage large number of employees. In this project, various dimensions of
motivation are explained in a precise manner to develop mental strength in
employees. This project also covers application of workplace management in order
to lead the organization at the marketplace. This report also includes application of
working environment in order to develop professional working conditions for
employees.

MAIN BODY
What does Motivation Mean
Motivation means inspiring people by fulling their needs, desires and wants. It is a
process of inspiring peoples to accomplish their goals. Motivation comes automatically it
cannot be forced on employees. This is a goal oriented continues process a person get
motivated by certain thing by salary, job satisfaction, incentives and awards. It a manger job
to motivate their employees that they do best in their jobs and give their contribution in
increasing productivity and profitability (Cote, and Harris, 2021). Motivation has two types
extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation.
Extrinsic: it is derived purely from outside by giving external motivation that are rewards,
incentives like praise, money, and status. Another name of this is external motivation. This is
beneficial when a person works for earning rewards if they feel boring.
Intrinsic motivation: it is a form of motivation that totally arises from within an employee.
This is done by an employee for self-accomplishment it is more effective for doing long term
task. The best way of providing internal motivation is to give valuable feedback and
guidance from their manger.
Maslow's proposed a motivation theory that based on five tier of human needs these are
physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, self-esteem needs, and self-actualization
needs. A theory of human motivation is suggesting that people are motivated by fulfilling
their basic needs. The model of hierarchy is going from bottom to up.
1. Physiological needs: This is the most basis need of a human continuity such as need
of food, shelter, water, and clothing. In the absence of these requirements a human
body can't function properly. If a person gets all his basic needs he gets motivated
and this leads to increase productivity and profitability of a business organization.
2. Safety needs: This need of motivation comes after fulfilling basic physiological
needs. If a person achieves all its basic need then he wants to accomplish safety and
security need. Some of basic safety needs include health safety (against injury and
any disease), finance safety, and job safety.
3. Social needs: This include care, acceptance, trust, friendship and connections. These
are necessary to have present in a working environment because they are beneficial

for reducing the stress less of an employee. Once a human attains its physiological
and safety need he try to maintain good relations in society.
4. Self-esteem needs: Maslow divided this need into two parts: internal need, which
means need for self (confidence, dignity, awards and achievements) and second is
external needs that derive from status, prestige, and authority. Self-esteem needs
play a very vital role in motivating a person.
5. Self-actualization needs: It refers to satisfaction that a person gets after completing
a task. It varies person to person and it can be fulfilling by different ways by getting
skills tanning, continued education, accomplishing life goal and status upgrading
(Flynn, Castellanos, and Flores-Andrade, 2018). For achieving self-actualization, a
person gets training and career guidance for achieving heights in their life.
The various factors which motivate employees to work
Salary: The salary is a type of monetary benefit which is provided by a company to its
employees for development of employees. Also with the help of salary, an organization
improves performance of employees and also motivates them. In the international
marketplace, companies provide handsome salary to staff members for overall
development of a business entity.
Promotion: The promotion is also a major activity which is used by many different
business entities in order to perform publicity of products and services. Promotion
techniques are related to media advertising on different platforms in order to attract large
number of customers.
Work Environment: Working environment is related to conditions and policies that
are framed by different companies to establish a good workplace of organizations. In
the development of working environment, it is major focus of a company to formulate
an effective strategy (Gorichanaz, 2020). The effective working environment is also
effective in developing fair and unique performance of employees.
The positive factors employees experience as a result of their job
roles
In the functioning of a business at the marketplace, it is very much essential to
focus on key goals and responsibilities. The employees of a company should face
different opportunities and goals that are beneficial for increasing business strength.

All major employees of a company face the following positivity as a result of their job
roles:
Knowledge development- The knowledge of employees is developed by
management in order to gain effective growth at the marketplace. Knowledge
helps employees to focus on key goals and objectives and achieve them in a
precise manner (Grealy, Driscoll, and Hickey-Moody, 2018). Knowledge in a
professional manner is achieved with the help of job roles in order to develop
a systematic approach at the marketplace.
Ethics and integrity- This is one of the major outcomes of a job role which
develops fair ethics and integrity based values in an organization. All the
ethics helps employees to perform sustainable manner which are also
effective in self growth. Ethics and integrity are two major pillars which are
also helpful in development of a dynamic approach.
Personality development- Personality development is also a major outcome
of experience which is gained by performing a job role (Irwin, 2020). Major
companies and employees are facilitated with the help of personality
development in order to lead the marketplace.
The negative factors employees experience as a result of their job
roles
The negative factors are also an important part of a job role which are faced
by the employees. The presence of negative factors, makes employees ineffective
and also impacts on their motivation. In the recent times, many candidates or
employees face the following negative factors related to a job role:
Conflicts- The conflicts are major type of hurdles which are developed
by clash between different employees. Conflicts create chaos in mind
of employees as well for the organization (Mancuso Brehm, 2019). It is
important for human resource management to focus on resolving
conflicts on regular basis in order to develop a business entity.
Time management issues- There are various issues related to time
management which are faced by different organizations and
employees. In order to develop effective approach in time

management, it is important for an employee to take assistance of a
well formulated strategy.
Strategies to cope with negative factors employees experience as a
result of their job roles
There are different strategies which can be developed or formulated by
different employees in order to increase their potential. The main strategic options
available to employees are mentioned below:
Positivity in mind- There is a need of developing positivity in mind for
various functions and tasks that are to be performed in a company
(McNeil, and et. al. 2020). A positive approach or mindset is always
helpful for the employees in business world in order to achieve desired
goals and objectives.
Support from management- Employees can take help and support
from top level management in order to compete with negativity. The
management of a company should provide best and optimum solutions
to different employees in order to lead the marketplace.
Motivation- This is the most important factor which will help different
employees to cope up with negativity. Employees should develop
positivity related to motivation for development of a good strategy in
performing organizational operations ( Papouli, 2019). The motivation is
also considered as major approach which includes application of
different theories to develop mental strength in employees.

CONCLUSION
From the above stated report it can be concluded that, it is crucial for a
business entity to take help of motivation in order increase moral of different
employees. This project concludes the role played by human resource management
of a company to develop major focus on motivation for development of needs and
