report is to study the health profile of family along with their health needs and how nurses forms
a core part in enhancing health of people. In this report, family living in underprivileged area like
Blackpool and having the low social status are taken who are deprived of major facilities. The
major rationale behind taking this groups is that they are the one who are more prone to ill-health
and risk factors.

navigate through healthcare system. Nurse can work with the patients as well as their families for
ensuring the well through holistic care to prevent ill health. Besides this, nurses can serve as
health promoter where they can plan and the various programs about the assessment needs and
health needs of the people and thus can help to disseminate the information on various effects of
the different disorders and diseases (Banks and Thompson, 2018).
Use of information for promoting health promotion activities
The various information which the nurses disseminate to the patients for improving their
ill health can be used for planning the numerous activities on health promotion at large platform.
Nurse mainly provide information as how the patients can ensure their better health and what
preventive measures they can take for safeguarding their health. This information can be used in
various seminars. For example- in order to make people aware of Tuberculosis, Nurses can help
to disseminate the preventive measures which should be taken for avoiding the outbreak of TB.
Besides this, as they are highly trained and expert in their filed thus they can also recommend
various vaccinations and medications which will be helpful for different age group (Baum,
2016).
CONCLUSION
It has been summarized that health and well-being plays an important role in the life of
people and thus is highly essential to maintain the good health and proper healthy behaviour. The
health status differ from person to person and have different pattern in community, a group and a
family. The family which lives in underprivileged area having parents and children then their
health status mainly shows that they do not have the access to basic necessities and due to men
are sole earner, they have poor financial situation. Their health needs addresses the need to
educate them. Where on the other hand, females living luxurious lives also becomes prey of
serious health issues like obesity due to less physical activity thus there health needs addresses

need for performing physical activity. Nurses are the prime entity in promoting good health. Due
to efficient practice in their filed, role of nurses is imperative, and they are mainly involved in
providing information to patient as how they can improve their health. Nurses are the treasure of
information about various ill health which can be used for planning the health promotion
activities.
