INTRODUCTION
Understanding and leading change states that the people are prepared to face the problem
at the time of implementing the change in the business. Those people who participated to make
changes in the business could evaluate the process of changes and issues of political,
psychological and organisation which is happened in the business. They make their effective
efforts to identify factors which brings successful changes in the business. The determination of
leading change refers to the activity of the whole team so they perform effectively to make the
effective and efficient changes which leads to the success and growth of the business.
This report determine the leading changes in the business Sainsbury which is the
multinational company of supermarket. It is the third largest company which sales variety of
products and services to their customer. The headquarter of Sainsbury is at the London, UK.
This report determine the impact of changes on the strategy and operations of two
organisation. There different ways in which internal and external changes affects the behaviour
of team and individual in the organisation. This file includes different measures to reduces the

satisfied the needs of the customer. For the prop[er functioning of the business operations there is
need of the new and advanced technology which helps to maintain the effective image of the

organisation improves the level of performance of the employees so that they work effectively
towards the objectives of the sainsbury. The leader provides the training to their employees about
the new changes in the technology which enhance the growth of the team. The leader changes
the new styles of the leadership which makes the better decision of the company success.

There is the rapid increases in the level of the competition at the international level and
company faces lots of challenges because of this pressure there is need to changes the strategies

minimize these barriers of changes so that they easily works to achieve the goals and objectives
of the business. Because of these barriers of change the effective and efficient planning of
changing the production process of business in the Sainsbury creates difficulty. So these barriers
are explained below:
Resistance to change: Some people in the company does not accept the changes in the
organisation easily because they are not comfortable with the new process and strategy of the
structure of the company. It doesn't matter how logical and effective the new changes is for the
company and individual but the employees creates resistance.
Lack of communication: For the success and growth of the changes in the organisation
communication must be effective and efficient. The failure of the successful implementation of

makes the employees more productive by improving their style of working in the business.

Authentic leadership models:
This approach of leadership states that the awareness of the leaders which helps to
maintain the positive relation with their employees and encourages them in the correct way to
achieve the goals of the business. In the business of sainsbury when the implement any changes
for the future growth this style of leadership helps them to achieve the goals. By using this style
of leadership the leader of the sainsbury share the success and failure with their employees so
that they implement effective changes in the business. When the changes in the organisation
taken place authentic leadership play an important role because they other with self aware and
core values of the business (Paulin and Suneson, 2015). These leader uses the skills of grounded,
