INTRODUCTION
Health care services should be more effective and efficient services to the customers. By
providing appropriate services to the client (Petch, 2012). Health care services is helpful for the
client. Government provides different types of plans, rules and regulations for the health care
services. This report includes concepts of health, disabilities and behaviour, legislation of the
government etc. by providing effective and appropriate health care service to the customer they
can enhance their performance in the industry.

1.1 Concept of health, disability, illness and behaviour in relation to users of health and social
care services
Health care services must be effective and efficient for the customers. Concept of social
and health care must be cleared for the health care service provider. They need to provide
appropriate services to the customers. Based on the client needs they provide appropriate
services. Health, disability, illness and behaviour are different from each other. Each has
different characteristics and definitions (Drummond and et.al., 2015).
Health
Health means the mental and physical well being of an individual. It indicates a total
good feelings of a person. There are different types of disease in the world but health care service
provider has a responsibility to provide appropriate and effective services to the customer. Based
on the client need they need to provide appropriate services (Phelvin, 2014). Services must be
good enough and effective for the client. They have various types of medial, health and social
services for a customer (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 2012).
Disability
Many persons have disability such as long term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory
etc. these all are the disabilities in the persons. Health care services help to improve their
performance in a world. Health care services provides different types of tools and techniques to
solve the appropriate problem of a person. They have various technologies to solve the particular
problem (Betancourt and et.al., 2016).
Illness
Illness is varied from person to person because each person has different types of
emotions and perceptions. The concepts of illness plays a vital role to diagnose disease and

sickness. Health care provider provides effective and efficient services that will helpful for
appropriate persons (Swayne, Duncan and Ginter, 2012).
Discrimination: there are different types of discrimination acts that gives more facilities to the
person. In this case scenario Mr Holland needs the health and social care services such as civil
rights and medical services acts that gives appropriate services to them.
Stigma helps to seeking out the effective services that can easily improve the Mr. Holland health.
They must need the health rights such as freedom and entitlements. It gives the security to the
person to overcome the effect of diseases.

factors
Perceptions needs have been changed with the recent change in the time .Earlier health
care services are not given much importance but now a days more attention is given to the heath
care centres. Health care centres are been made to operate and take care of old age people and
thus the centres are made with a view to achieve the well balanced between the system of the old
traditional systems (Plomin, 2013). Now a days child discrimination is also not included and
thus it is a major biggest change to the country and thus the needs and wants of the people are
also changed according to the today's needs (Boulware and et.al., 2016).
Now a days people are much aware of the home care centres and most of the people are
being educated and thus the ratio of well educated members are increased and thus the
perception level of the people also increases and now a days people prefer to go to old age
homes because the living condition of the people is not better as compared to the earlier days
because most of the people are living abroad and the parents are living in the home town so to
spent time with some one they think that old age homes are very beneficial to them (Purnell,
2012).
Old age policies are also such that people are feeling relaxed by going to the old age
homes. People are much aware about the old age systems with the coming g of the new
technologies and the awareness is being spread among the public related to old age homes
(Stewart and Wild, 2017). So the lifestyle of the people is completely changed according to the
changing minds and awareness.

services made available for individual with specific needs
There are different types of legislation in the world that will help to the appropriate
customers. They all have various characteristics, rules and regulations to provide health care
services in the industry ( Van Eijk and Steen, 2014). Government provides many laws and rules
to provide health care services to the client. There are a lot of positive impact on the legislation,
social policy and culture on the services made available to the users of health care services with
the particular needs (Shortliffe and Cimino, 2013).
Impact of legislation
Legislation provides different types of rules, regulations to the health care. It is beneficial
for the company. Government provides different types of policies of services to the health cares
that will help to increase performance in the industry. To increase the performance in the market
they need to provide effective and efficient services to the customers. There are various effective
policies that will help to increase overall performance in the world (Burwell, 2015).
Social policy
Social policy is the policy that provide a great extend responsible for ensuring the
services available for the people with particular needs. Impact of the social policy affects overall
performance in the market. There are different policies of social that will help to health care
services provider to provide effective and efficient services to the clients in the world. Social
policies help to increase productivity of services in the market and also help to get higher
performance in the industry.

2.1 Analysis the care needs of Mr Holland park with specific needs
There are lot of technologies and acre that will help to recover from the disease. Extra
and intensive care must be taken for the Mr. Holland park with specific needs because they are
mostly deprived and oppressed. They need different types of health care to increase efficiency of
a body. In this kind of situation they need two fold approach to reduce the actions of this disease.
This approach is very helpful for the person. Hearing impaired affects entire body such as
weakness, vomiting and pain etc. These all are the factors that can affect Mr Holland body.
Health care service provider need to provide effective, efficient and appropriate services to the
Mr Holland park. It has advanced technologies and approaches that will give recovery from the

It can be observed that in dementia one forget whatever it do in day to day life. Even few minute
ago whatever activity individual perform is forgotten by individual. In care home there is very
strong system to support individuals that are suffered from dementia. There is a team of experts
that take care of patients that are suffered from dementia. This group of people regularly take
follow up of diet that dementia suffered people take. It is ensured that proper amount nutrients
are taken by individuals so that their memory retention capacity cannot be further reduced
further. Apart from this, care takers also time to time come at workplace to meet patients that are
suffered from mentioned disease (Folland, Goodman and Stano, 2016).
This is because patients does not know many times that they are performing act which
may harm them. Hence, it can be said that overall system is quite good in care home and those
who are suffered from dementia are treated in proper manner. In team there is senior manager
that take entire report from its juniors and ensured that in care home each and every assigned
patient is treated in proper manner. Thus, it can be said that overall system in relevant care home
is excellent. There are also other individuals that are suffered from other diseases and for treating
them in proper manner some rules and practices are prepared with which employees and nurses
strictly followed and ensured that equal and full attention is paid on all patients. This is the
reason due to which monitoring system of care home is very strong.
Self directed approach is the best strategy to give appropriate services and facilities that help to
overcome their disease. Mr Holland needs effective environment in which they can share their

thoughts and feeling to the family members. Members has a responsibility to give effective
environment so that they can easily overcome the disease.
2.3 Evaluation of services available in the chosen locality for individuals with appropriate needs.
The main personality with the specific needs and requirement should provides supports
for the benefits of the people and the society. From the analysis, it has been recognised that
people with some specific requirements are generally deprived of common goal and legal
facilities of the social groups. In the social and health care sector, extra arrangements have been
made to make this system and facilities more effective for the people. The current systems for
the people with particular needs are determined above:
 Advice and guidance: the present systems for provide support to individuals with the
same appropriate specific needs also provides guidance and support for the battlement of
the physical and mental health of patients of health and social care. In this context,
organization is considered as best suitable for the Holland park as they providing better
health and social care services to resolve their problems and providing better facilities
and accomplishment of various better things.
 Counselling: it is also considered as the most important phase in health and social care.
The Holland park with the specific needs and sometimes requires counselling to increase
their motivation and confidence.
 Personal development program: It is also a part of health and social care which are
established by an individuals like Holland park for the accomplishment of specific needs.

In this analysis, it has been recognised that disabilities of an individual can be considered
as punishments within a group or family that lead to ostracism and marginalization of adults
with such incapabilities (Bhatnagar and et. al., 2015). As per the scenario, An audit is conducted

for measurement of quality improvement, it will reflect the condition of father within
organization. There some effective approaches have been available for the organization with
some specific requirements to help them such as:
 Behavioural and developmental interventions: these types of interventions includes
large as well as diverse strategies of education, techniques and programs that involves
various forms of learning and coaching (Bowling, 2014). These are also considered as
effective through auditor will used to analyse the improvement in quality of health-care
services.
 Health and serviced based interventions: In this analysis, it has been recognised that
the various standards' healthcare services have been designed to meet the health and well
being of individuals with the disabilities like dementia ( Cross-Bardell and et.al., 2015).
Wide range of medical and health care services have been introduced by the NHS that
includes treatments and therapies which used by the cited organization and also used by
other healthcare professionals. These particular interventions are considered as suitable as
it includes the methods that support the people like Holland park and provides them

4.1 Different concepts of challenging behaviours
In the scenario, the different cultures of the health and social care have been considered
as important which defines the behaviours of users or patients which the organization has to deal
with. In this context, the challenging culture have defined as the intensity, frequency or duration
that the physical safety of the persona which placed seriousness or the behaviour with likely to
seriously limit or mostly likely to be changed every time (Hitchings and Latham, 2016). These
types of behaviours may create problematic condition for the people as well as social care firms
to handle services. Apart from this, this challenging behaviours also considered as problematic
condition to handle the person with the specific needs thus, the health care specialist also posses
the fear for the health workers to accomplish there jobs in the appropriate and effective ways for
the accomplishment of task and responsibilities (McCann and et.al., 2015). These major common
types of behaviours include the self injurious behaviour, aggressive behaviours and forgetting
things is also considered as the most problematic behaviour. In this context, the Holland park has
the problems of dementia in which the person always suffer from the problems of mood swings

As per the case scenario, there are various ill implication and impact on society due to the
challenging behaviour of members of health and social-care. It may include the physical,
physiological, mental destruction faced by the perusing person. Along with this, frustration, legal
laws, stress level, high workload of employees and extra expenses also affect the members of
health and social care (Murray and et.al., 2013). Due to this challenging behaviours, organization
must focus on the area such as extra support and other medical or care services to the users.

Though, the services will be really challenging but employees must get a way to manage these
people in the health-care organisation (Heslop and et. al., 2014). These are the main reason why
employees faces higher work-pressure and stress level from the work. As per the scenario, there
are also some important aspects like communication, setting clear goals , time out, rewards and
medication needs to be used to remove the impact.
In many medical researches it was found that such challenging behaviours can be solved
by providing special extra care and positive attitude (Nolan and et.al., 2016). Further, little
research about the patients and identifying the cause can also help the health care person to
reduce such condition. Using the ways the affected person can be preserved from getting
challenging behavioural explosion. However, while adopting the strategies care taker attention to
themself and to the society must be there (Petch, 2012). On the other hand, there can be
conditions where the victim behaviour can cause carer harm to the life or could be critical danger
to the carer. In such situation they must take wisely and peacefully action.
4.3 analysis of strategies for working with the challenging behaviours.
While dealing with the challenging behaviour, health and social care organisation
members, have higher responsibility and commitment towards the treatments. They have to
follow the prescription made by doctors so that patients can get the medications at proper time.
Apart from that, they have to provide physiological exercises and regular clinical assessments, so
that surrounding of patients can be changed. Therefore, in such a condition firm has to be more
responsible towards patient and caretaker for granting them proper environment in terms of
financing and medical facilities. Besides this, behaviourally challenged people faces problems in
this space range from basic safety, monitoring routines and daily tasks, which can be reduced by
the organisation (Nolan and et. al., 2016).
Along with this, people that are having higher level of psychological disorders requires various
types of therapies and special medical attention. In this terms the health and social care
organisations should recruit the people that have higher knowledge in attending people. They
should provide home care, should assist in Independent living by identifying identify anomalies
